Gorgeous and unique 1929 Julia Morgan architecture with beautiful courtyards and pool. View of the bay. Breakfast was yummy.
If you’re expecting a modern room (tv, large, mini-fridge, king-sized bed) you’ll be disappointed. This was fine for us and I felt we’d gone to Europe for the night.

Liked the included breakfast and the coffee/tea area on the main floor. The restaurant served excellent food and the lounge, with a live pianist on Friday, was a great place to hang out. The beautiful view of the Bay from our room was an unexpected bonus.
As expected for an older historical building, some of the spaces around the room and bathroom are small and not enough outlets, but still functional and nice.
