Great breakfast included, beautiful historic building, incredible location, just a block from campus.
Our room wasn't cleaned or the bed made. I'm not sure what happened.

This historic property was fun to stay in - and the breakfast was very nice.

The architecture of the hotel is beautiful. Some public rooms have very nice decorations. The interior garden is small but very nice.
It’s close to the downtown and UCB campus.
The buffet breakfast has very limited choices.

I enjoyed swimming in the beautiful pool. The continental breakfast had a nice selection. The public spaces were nice for reading, inside and in the courtyard.

Beautiful common spaces. Perfect for a wedding! Though small, the room was very tidy and sweetly decorated.Location adjacent to campus and Zellerbach Hall is stellar! Very reasonably priced + parking.
Warning to more senior set - the bathroom is a step up and could be a midnight visit to the bathroom accident.

Location good. Short staffed. Waitress rushing, trying to keep up with food and coffee refills and tables not bussed. We couldn't find a table that didn't have dirty dishes, so sat at one and shoved dishes aside. Felt sorry for the waitress who managed to smile while struggling to help guests.

Lovely calm place for people seeking quiet.
The property was lovely. Guests should be more kind, and be quiet when they come in late. As it is an old hotel, built as a refuge for women, a place of solace it should remain.

Fascinating, historical hotel. The swimming pool and many of the features of the hotel replicate those at the hearst Castle. Dining room was beautiful and breakfast was excellent.
Rooms were very small and a lot of noise at night. Beds were hard.
