It's a nice hotel.
The morning of my departure, I woke up to find a letter under my door asking me to check out an hour early as the hotel was closing for a private event. I had planned to work from my room until check out and had meetings arranged by video call. I had to rearrange my entire morning at no notice.
Don't take the booking if you're unable to honour it. I use hotels in the area regularly but won't be using this one again.

Not a lot. The location was perfect for us. But you can find other places near by
Hard to write this as they have since fully refunded a two night Friday - Sunday stay.
The room was sub standard. The dining rooms at dinner and breakfast were poorly served by staff. The carvery food was dreadful. Eat elsewhere.
In essence they are a function hotel that pays little care and attention if you are not part of a group. You won’t sleep if there is a wedding.
The photos of the rooms on here are deceptive. They’re tiny.

Good breakfast spoiled by cold plates. I did speak to a member of staff and he explained that it wa to protect children!
We ate in the a le carte restaurant 3evenings. No change of menu and food again was brought in on cold plates. Buffet on 4th night was very good.happy ocasion

Gorgeous hotel in lovely grounds right by Legoland Windsor so perfect for our trip. We stayed in a family room and it was spacious, clean and well equipped.

We paid for a deluxe room and it was really small. I sent a message complaining about the size as it wasn’t what the pictures showed and didn’t receive any reply. I expected more for the money and company

I had a wonderful stay at this charming hotel in Old Windsor. The building itself is a beautifully refurbished vintage property that makes you feel like you’re in a castle. You can easily spend hours exploring the corridors, admiring the tasteful decoration, and wandering through the stunning gardens. The location is excellent too—Old Windsor is a lovely area, just a 10-minute drive from Windsor Castle.
The 1705 restaurant is definitely worth a visit. While on the pricier side, the food and wine selection are superb. My room was very comfortable, well-decorated, and the breakfast was another highlight, though I would have appreciated a bit more variety.
One small downside was noticing several spider webs on the windows, which suggests housekeeping could pay closer attention to detail. Still, overall, it was a memorable stay and I’d recommend it to anyone visiting Windsor.
