Loved the location: smack in the middle of the town; walking distance to everything important! Plus a short hop across the river to Eton. And onsite charging facilities for an electric car - absolutely a 5-star service for every hotel to consider/introduce.
The hotel reception and ground floor area layout is all over the place - where is the front door to the High Street? You’ve got to wander or weave through hallways, doorways, etc. to get to the street. Small thing: but the bathroom extractor fan didn’t work and if you look at it you can see why - it’s clogged with dust and dirt.

Great location, wonderful staff and they carried our luggage 100% of the time. The decor, dining room and breakfasts were very good.
No air conditioning in first room and it was in need of repair. We asked to be moved, they did right away to a room w new bathroom and it was in good shape. Both had views of parking lot.

Everything was great, but the pillows were awful. They were too soft, almost flat. We asked for a change, and we were then given the hardest pillow I've ever seen. I woke up with a stiff neck and a headache.

Great location!
Upon checking in they did not have our reservation. The only room available had an air conditioning that was not working. Gave us 2 fans for the room but it was stifling hot. Management said they could not compensate us because we booked through Booking.com. I have tried to reach you to no avail. Unfortunately I don’t think I will be using your services again unless you can make this right. Thank you

The restaurant and staff were fantastic
As we're in our 80's and had a early flight. Asked for help with our baggage for 5.45 and no one turned up and we had to struggle with many stairs.
