Had a great stay at St Johns Lodge! The room was lovely with everything we needed and a great location in Windermere. Breakfast was excellent, a lot of hot options. Rich and Ada were lovely and very attentive with great knowledge of things to do in the surrounding area.

Wonderful
Excellent bedroom, comfortable bed and clean and spacious en suite. The breakfast was very good, with a great range of options. The owner is an excellent host and a gentleman; the other staff are pleasant too. The location is perfect for exploring Windermere and Bowness-on-Windermere, as well as the wider Lake District.
Nothing really - this was an excellent place to stay.

Loved the owner Rich. He was nice, polite and really helpful. Gave us a lot of information about Windermere.
I didnt like how the lady at the kitchen talked to my wife when my wife asked about breakfast, she was a bit rude.

Ideal stay, lovely room, very clean, very well equipped, nice decor. Fantastic breakfast. Staff were friendly and unobtrusive. Richard, the owner, was very welcoming and friendly. Would definitely stay here again

A warm and welcoming B&B where the hosts gave exceptional customer care and offered suggestions on nearby walks and nice places to eat. My wife & I chose ' The Lakes' to celebrate our anniversary and were not disappointed and had a great stay.

The hosts were excellent and very accomodating to our needs. The breakfast options were amazing, especially as I'm a vegetarian, I was so happy and surprised. We would stay again without a doubt.
Only thing was our mattress, it was a bit uncomfortable but that might just be because we're so used to our own.
