Good size room. Magnificent breakfast. Friendly staff. Close to pub where you get a great meal.
Luggage racks would be good. Unfortunately the bed in room 4 was very uncomfortable & sloped at the sides, needs replacing. We could hear everytime someone turned on the water going through the pipes. It is an old building, so there's probably nothing that can be done.

Really lovely guesthouse with everything you could possible need for a comfortable stay. The hosts were wonderful, breakfast was excellent and the rooms well equipped and clean. Wouldnt hesitate to book again. Great location only 5 minutes drive from Windemere.

The property was very clean and well equipt, great having a communal fridge we could use. Also wine glasses, cutlery and plates if required.
Staff were great, very accommodating, we had our dog with us so could not eat in the dining room, she set us up to eat out outside which was so very kind of her, nothing was to much trouble. great location for Windermere, our only criticism was the noise of the road as we were on the front.
Fine with windows closed, however it was warm.

We enjoyed our stay at Meadowcroft Guest House, its a very clean, well organized and comfortable location with very tasty breakfast, kind hosts and moderate price, we hope to return!

Wonderfully clean and surprisingly quiet. Staff were extremely friendly. The service was excellent. Loved how close and easy it was to get to the local pub for dinner.
The only issue was the bathroom became very wet with condensation when showering.
