Incredible breakfast! Comfortable facilities with a nice high pressure shower and comfortable bed.
Just stayed one night after a long haul flight but would definitely stay again.

Great location, friendly helpful staff, lovely reception and bar area. Very quiet at night didn’t hear a door bang or other people talking at all it was heaven.
The room was a bit tired in areas and needed a little attention but it was still lovely. It was also very hot and I think the temperature controller must have been set to not go below a certain temp because despite trying all night we could not cool the room down. The pillows were horrendous one as hard as a brick and the other so soft it was like not having a pillow at all (I got very little sleep because of this) however I would stay again but I would bring my own pillows.

The location is excellent (a short distance by Tube to central London), and the hotel is lovely and comfortable. The most important positive aspect for me is the great customer service. The staff are friendly and attentive, and on more than one occasion, they went the extra mile to address my requests and make my stay more pleasant.

Despite very friendly staff and some improved amenities such as the Smart TV, inconsistencies in comfort and the ongoing damage deposit policy significantly impacted the overall experience, especially considering the hotel’s high rating. The room was equipped with a Smart TV, which was a welcome improvement compared to my previous stay. Public transportation options nearby make it relatively easy to get around London, even though it should be noted that none of the nearby Underground stations have elevators, so luggage needs to be carried up and down stairs. The staff were once again very friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout the stay. A generous amount of toiletries was provided. I particularly appreciated the receptionist who kindly offered assistance with printing urgent forms required by my bank, which was very helpful and much appreciated.
The damage deposit policy remains a major disappointment. While the hotel clearly states that a £50 deposit will be withheld prior to arrival, charging every guest by default does not feel acceptable. Taking the money before the guest even arrives makes little sense, and without a joint inspection at both check‑in and check‑out, guests are left unprotected. Refunds also take several days, which is inconvenient. In my view, this should be treated as a standard business risk managed by the hotel itself rather than by temporarily holding guests’ money. Unlike my previous stay at this hotel, the bed was not comfortable this time, which was particularly disappointing given the earlier positive experience. There was also a noticeable lack of fresh air in the room. The thick carpet flooring once again made it difficult to move wheeled luggage. The hotel still has not completed “Travel Proud” training, and I do not see a reason why this has not been addressed. Coffee quality is poor, both in the room and during breakfast service. Breakfast hours are also quite limited, being served only until 9:30 a.m. on weekdays and 10:30 a.m. on weekends.

Considering the otherwise high rating, the hotel offers comfort, a good location, and friendly staff, but several operational and policy‑related issues noticeably reduce the overall experience. The hotel is conveniently located with a public bus stop right next to the entrance, making it very easy to get around London. The surrounding neighborhood is quiet and pleasant, which contributed to a peaceful stay. The bed and pillows were very comfortable and ensured good sleep quality. I also appreciated the generous amount of toiletries provided in the room. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout the stay, which created a positive overall atmosphere.
Although a refrigerator is mentioned in the reservation details, only a minibar is provided. A minibar is intended for hotel‑supplied items at an additional charge and cannot be used in the same way as a refrigerator for storing personal food and drinks. Upper floors are accessible only by stairs, which can be inconvenient when carrying luggage. The coffee quality is poor, both in the room and at breakfast. The damage deposit policy is particularly disappointing. Wi‑Fi was not working during the stay, despite previous guest feedback indicating this has been an ongoing issue. The room also had a very small window, approximately 100 × 60 cm, which opens only slightly at the top and bottom, resulting in limited ventilation and natural light. The thick carpet flooring makes it difficult to move wheeled luggage. Additionally, the hotel has not completed Booking.com’s “Travel Proud” training. Indirectly related, the nearby underground stations do not have elevators or lifts, meaning guests need to carry luggage up and down stairs.
