In attractive, tree-lined Putney with parking and elegant interiors, The Lodge Hotel is a boutique hotel just a few minutes' walk from East Putney Tube Station. It offers free super-fast Wi-Fi and a stylish bar, and is 5 minutes' drive from the River Thames. Wimbledon is just 5 minutes away by car or Tube, while central London is a 20-minute Tube journey from East Putney Station. Putney’s town center, with bars and shops, is 0.5 miles away. All rooms at the Lodge have a flat-screen satellite TV, luxury bed linen, a work area and free tea and coffee. Each luxury tiled bathroom has a hairdryer. Guests can take breakfast in the restaurant. The Hide & Seed Restaurant offers light meals, pastries and a relaxing lounge, and guests can relax with a book in the hotel's own library. Hide & Seed is open from 4:00pm to 10:00pm Monday to Thursday & 2:00pm to 10:00pm Friday & Saturday, (closed on Sunday) and serves 100% homemade seasonal food. Guest have access to the on-site gym. The refurbishment project is scheduled to begin on 11th September 2023 and is expected to conclude on June 1st 2025. Excellent location, very friendly and efficient staff. Roomvwas huge withva comfy bed, excellent facilities and a massive bathroom with a very good, hot & powerful shower. Although ground floor and facing the main road we didn't hear any overbearing noise either from inside or outside of the hotel. Would recommend and definitely would stay here again.
