The property was in a very convenient location, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. In particular, the night staff were really lovely and helpful. The bed in our room was also very comfortable, and overall the room itself was clean and tidy.
I wouldn’t feel particularly comfortable staying at this hotel alone as a woman. There was a lot of footfall throughout the hotel late at night, and we were told that rooms may also be provided to homeless people when available. While I completely appreciate the importance of providing accommodation to those who need it, as a paying guest I think this is something the hotel should be transparent about.
There was also a strong smell of cannabis throughout parts of the hotel, which added to our concerns. If I had children with me, I would have been particularly uncomfortable about the possibility of anything potentially unsafe being left behind in communal areas or rooms and missed during cleaning.
Although our room was generally clean and tidy, the carpets throughout the hotel were quite worn and could definitely do with replacing or a deep clean.
Finally, the night staff were lovely, but the bar seemed to have a surprising shortage of glassware. We had to hand back our used glasses whenever we wanted another drink rather than being given fresh ones, which isn’t something I would expect from a hotel bar. Breakfast wasn’t something I’d waste my time getting up for.

I've stayed here many times, it's so conveniently located, and you know what you're getting with a Hi Ex. Also check out the neon sign on the dog track. I know!

Great stay . Rooms clean comfy the breakfast was a good addition. Sam on reception was really friendly and informative appreciated the time given to us when we arrived. Would stay again .
Shower was quite tepid would have preferred hotter water .

Plenty of parking and easy access from North Circular and supermarket walkable from hotel. Comfy beds, friendly helpful staff and good breakfast with lots of options.
Not near any places to eat out that are walkable and can hear traffic noise.
