Gorgeous venue with stunning atmosphere and maximum comfort for our stay there. The restaurant was exquisite and should definitely be visited more often!
Although the place was very clean, there was an old smell that could be smelt from certain points in the venue.

Comfortable bed and quiet surrounding
Lack of signage that points to the hotel when pulling up in the car park.
Even the reception staff joked that guests have trouble finding the hotel.
It needs clear signage on the wall adjacent/behind the cafe.

Receptionist was very nice
The conference facilities were truly shocking - there was a nasty smell going to the venue, the projector bulb didn't work so it didn't really project. The meal at lunch was a small number of sloppy sandwiches with ham, cheese and pickle and a small bowl of crisps which for 25 people was not enough and very low quality. We arrived in the dark and the reception wasn't signed at all.

The location is beautiful set in public parkland.
The bar is reasonably priced and the breakfast comprehensive.

The outdoors area was nice, it was easy to access from Swindon. the rooms and bathrooms were spotless. Decent English breakfast.
the beds were quite uncomfortable, with only a pillow each. The rooms were also pretty small but fine for what we needed, which was somewhere to stay after a wedding nearby .
