Good location to walk across Iffley Locks and down the side of the river to get into Oxford town centre. Peaceful and quiet location.
We were told at 22:05 to exit the bar, rather abruptly. Coffee machine behind the bar was not on when we asked for coffee. Only instant coffee available during our stay. Asked for extra butter with breakfast, and got offered jam instead. Breakfast options were limited and obviously halal, which we were not informed of before our stay. Breakfast portions were small and meagre.

The settee in the bedroom was a lovely touch. The room was spacious and comfortable. All the extras were lovely.
The shower was difficult to regulate from hot/scalding. Struggled to get it to get to cool. If you are paying for 3 adults maybe it would be nice to have 3 of each of the toiletries provided.

Bathroom had been renovated but not completed. No hooks to hang gowns, paint on the windows, broken window latch held together with string. Breakfast was good except for the first day when only bread and scrambled eggs were available. Dinners were very good. Service was friendly and efficient. The bar and the beer were good.
Outside grounds were unkempt. Piles of rubbish, weeds in the paved areas, old decorations flapping in the wind.

Was there in 2024 and it was in need of a serious upgrade. Wow has been beautifully upgraded. Loved the room and bathroom.. Perhaps just store the ironing board and vacuum cleaner in a cupboard not leave in the hallway. Compared to everything else the breakfast leaves a lot to be desired. Cereal, orange juice and coffee was all that was on offer when I asked re cooked breakfast was told all they had was Eggs, nothing else. Language a bit of a problem. Curry previous nite was delicious.

I didn't like that i was not told about the party and live band from the bar very loud i had to sit in my car to talk on my phone. If this is advertised as a hotel there should be a door to block out sound. The shower didn't have hot water. I also stated I was vegan and ask for a vegan breakfast. On Sunday morning I was told I could have egg on toast. I had beans instead. I ask for almond or oat milk and was told they could not buy it because it would waste. Monday morning i left without having breakfast. I wasted my money on this hotel in the heart of beautiful Iffley Village my final word appalling!!

nothing, we didnt stay, its was not a hotel. it was an indian restaurant with rooms above, we left and booked in at another hotel down the road, COMPLETE DUMP - NOT AN HOTEL - I THINK HEALTH DEPT SHOULD VISIT
it was a complete mess, it had a smell of drains and indian food, drunks laying around in bar area, door locks that didnt work, we didnt stay, we left atfer 5 minutes as could not stay with my family, dirty and smelly, complete shit pit, not a hotel, an indian resurant with crappy rooms above, it smelt and was dirty, felt unsafe, car park complete mess, newspaper up windows, wouldnt house my dog there, complete and utter shit holes, NOT AN HOTEL, A SHIT HOLE,

The pillows were uncomfortable, the hole in the window, no power the showers, no mat for the bathroom floor, no hooks to hang anything in bathroom, heating didn't work, no complimentary shower gel or shampoo, lucky brought our own.. one pack of biscuits for two people
