Location to Oxford city centre.
Room was a little tired even though it smelled of paint (or could have been interpreted as musty?). The room and bathroom were large but lacked an overall feel although it was billed as historic. The price could have been considered acceptable if the room had been up to scratch, but as it was it was overpriced and not helped by a £25 overnight parking charge.

The facilities (pool and gym) were small but good. The bar lunch was very good although there was no one to place an order with for ages.
The breakfast was good but very expensive. The parking charge for residents is huge and unique in my limited experience.

Lovely property in large, quiet grounds. Lots of facilities available and staff were kind and helpful. Big, clean rooms that are modern and lots of storage. Only a 15-20 minute walk into the city either along the main road or along the Thames river path, also near a bus stop that is direct and quick.
Parking was an additional charge to staying here and quite expensive at £25 a day.

A very nice hotel, with a spacious room, good for relaxing. The city center is on walking distance and Oxford for sure is worth the visit.
