Located within 17 acres of countryside, Oxford Belfry Hotel & Spa is 8 miles from the historic center of Oxford. Located just off the M40, there is a spa and swimming pool for guests to use. The location was great for us. The room was very spacious and the double bed, which was huge, was very comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great. We didn't get a chance to use the Spa but I am sure we'll do that next time we visit. Also the hotel is dog friendly, which is an added bonus.

Large room, lovely breakfast, nice staff and clean room.
The room was so hot the A/C didn't work, the beds were not comfortable at all. The pillows were so soft i got neck and back ache.

Staff extremely friendly, esp in the spa.
Our room was INCREDIBLY hot. At breakfast the following morning, this appeared to be the case for virtually everyone we spoke to. The air conditioning unit did not seem to work and this led to an awful night sleep, which was very upsetting for our young children.

Location, parking,
Cleaning of room not good (water stains and floor not cleaned) Did not replace biscuits or snacks on day 2. Dinner took 1.5 hours to be served, Chips undercooked, Fish not fresh, Breakfast - the help yourself buffet the serving spoons all greasy and the area very messy. NO whole milk, told you don't do it?? Most staff young and inexperienced. Hallways had rubbish and needed vacuuming. garden are had glasses and empty bottles on tables from the day before. Reception area left unattended far too often. Bar staff very inexperienced.
