We were downstairs in room 1, but was kept awake pass 2am with squeaky overhead floorboards people walking around.

Lovely area, easy parking..The staff were very friendly, food was excellent!
Our room was very dated and tired looking.. Lots of cobwebs, but our bed was very comfortable and clean..

The room was clean and tidy and the bed was comfy
The hospitality from the landlord was very good and I had a evening meal with pudding both were delicious
In the morning I had a full English breakfast which was included in the price and was delicious too
Will be staying again next time I’m down there

Ideal location to get in to Chinnor to meet up with friends. Also very close to lovely village called Sydenham and fairly close to Thame too. Still have to get a bus or taxi, if you do not want to drive though, but we found an Uber and buses go hourly.
Slightly remote, and no shops close by, but in a nice part of the country. Just would say bring snacks with you if needed.
