A very nice small country inn, the room was very clean, comfortable and a good size. The en suite bathroom was equally clean with instant hot water. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, whilst the food menu was varied with a good selection cooked to order at reasonable prices. The cooked breakfast (included in the room rate) was, as the evening meal, cooked to order, whilst there was also a good array of juices, cereal, yoghurts etc, if required.

Nice chap in charge throughout our stay.
Nice pub, good beer.
Location was a problem, at crossroads of two busy minor roads - lots of acceleration noise late on and early next morning.
The shower was mis-described!
There is a difference between the "bath and shower" described and what is actually in the room.
Which is actually a 'shower over the bath'. This was worked by the bath taps and had minimal flow.
As Pensioners who find climbing into a bath fraught and have had one bad slip experience elsewhere - I booked on the basis of "....and shower" being a separate, stand-in shower.
There was no photo.
Very late into the evening, 11pm to midnight approx, the floorboards creaking excessively in the room above woke us both.
Went on for ages, could hear every step! Same next morning.
The bed was a bit small.
The whole room had been photographed to look bigger.
Overall, not the 'treat' we wanted. More endured.
However, contractually, it met the description, shower aside.

Friendly and welcoming. Rooms were quiet and in a separate block from the pub building, so no disturbance from the bar. Food was good.
Food was very slow - up to an hour's wait from putting in our order to getting the food (we were told it was because there was only 1 person in the kitchen).

Lovely place, clean and good value for money. The man (possibly the owner) who checked me in and made breakfast was very welcoming and friendly. He was also very helpful in regards to assisting me with options of getting to Marlow and back. I was staying on my own and felt safe.
There is also ample free parking.

Really accomodating and let us pick up the keys a bit early as we were off to a wedding. Really polite and really good value for money
Considering the cost of the room I think everything was reasonable and appropriate, only minor thing would be there was low water pressure in the shower but not problematically

lovely location, near to my appointment the next morning. room ensuite.
toilet tempermental in flushing . hot water had no pressure from the tap.
for breakfast my coffee had the coffee grounds floating in it. my toast came already buttered!
