Disappointing
Convenient to conference location
Bathrooms were not designed well no place to put your toiletries. No mirror in good location. Hooks on wall were broken No attached restaurant or cafe No options for breakfast No one at the front desk most of the time Did not feel very safe if traveling solo.

The room was reasonably spacious and location while in a dodgy alley, is central.
I found bed bugs on the bed and the property didn’t get me a new room (apparently they were full), tried to gaslight me saying they didn’t receive any previous complaints. Also, there was no one at the front desk, the entire conversation was over the phone. After we left past midnight, they also refused to refund us and when I messaged them asking, they ignored me.

Its location was great! And it was clean.
The pictures chosen for the website were of one room but did not represent the two rooms me and the couple I traveled with had. The carpet was horrible, the space was tiny, and the noise outside was notable all throughout the night.

I could not gain access. No person answered the number in the front door, no one answered when ringing the door bell. Booking.com called the front desk and no one answered, and I was standing outside, hearing the phone go unanswered. So then I had to wait 45 minutes to rebook a room elsewhere per Booking.com to allow the location to answer their email back. When they did not answer the door, bell or phone, there should not have been a waiting period following an email…which was not answered.
Terrible set up. Could not gain access to the code for the door key…neither could Booking.com agent.

Very Good
Large bathroom with a big shower. Large tv and a nice big room. Staff are very helpful and nice.
There is a good deal of noise due to being near a market and other facilities.

The whole hotel had a rotten smell, especially the room. There was a mouldy vase on the desk. There was no warm water while showering; it was either freezing or very hot.

Bed was comfy.
Tv didn’t work, shared kitchen and bathroom wasn’t amazing. Graffiti on the windowsill and frame as well on chest of drawers. The door lock was really awkward to unlock and lock. For the price, it wasn’t bad just expected a little more.

The bathroom had mold in it, which gave it a smell so vile that it made us gag. It was truly horrible. You had to breath through your mouth while using the bathroom to keep from vomiting. Literally.

Size of the room was very good and the location it’s amazing for everything would want to do in Oxford.
The tenants of the room below our room started playing bet loud music at 3:05 am, we attempted to call the front desk which was unmanned. We knocked the door but no answer. The music did not turn off till 7:00 am. I have to say I have been put off Irish folk music for life.

Pretty basic stay but in central location, very close to amenities and the train station. The downside is noise, the area is quite lively at night and equally noisy early in the morning with delivery and bin collection vehicles. The property has single glazing widows which makes it worse. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The carpet was stained, the square toilet seat on a round basin, ceiling flaking off. I found it expensive for the accommodation offered, £130/night April 2025.

Location to Oxford’s city center. Very convenient.
The overnight noise. Located by a treater’s stage door entrance, trucks would load and offload equipment in the late hours. Very noisy 3 of the 4 evenings of my stay.
