The staff was prompt with communications. There was a little fridge in the room which was useful! It’s a quiet residential neighbourhood.
It’s a bit away from the city center which translates to an expensive uber ride or 20-30mins bus ride but I knew that while booking. Just something to be aware of while factoring in the price.

The price is reasonable, and the location is close to Headington shops and bus stops.
During my first day and night, the radiator did not work at all, and the room was very cold. It was impossible to sleep or rest because of the low temperature. Since there was no reception or staff available during the night, I had to endure the cold until morning. When I reported this issue the next day, I was told that I should have sent a message via Booking.com during the night. However, there was no way for me to know that I was expected to contact the property through Booking.com in such a situation, especially when there was no staff or contact information available at night.

Our room was 'cosy' but enough space for one night and perfect for our needs. We could try and book a larger room option if we were staying longer.

Reasonably priced BnB.
Towel heating rack did not work at beginning at after 11pm.
Bedroom linens were hung dried in dinner room where there was food smell and guest traffic.
Guesthouse next to major roadway and traffic noise was a problem w/o closing all windows- ventilation not effective w/ windows shut.

The location
The room was very cramped. Not entirely clean, and the bedding or pillows smelt dirty; and there was some kind of infestation of small thin flying bugs.
One staff member was lovely, but another failed to tell me how to use the keys, which was a problem.
Every time I opened the bathroom door, a dazzlingly bright white light went on, and there was no way of disabling it. Total disaster if you are trying to reset your body clock after travelling across many time zones, or if you are travelling with a partner who does not want to be woken up by a blindingly white interrogation light suddenly turning on in the middle of the night.

The location (right next to bus stop). Comfy beds.
Rooms are too small. The smell of breakfast in the morning is simply unbearable. Noisy corridor. The welcoming employee could have been a lot nicer.
