Room not ready when we arrived at 3.15pm Entrance door to our corridor banged shut every time anyone went through it.

I thought dinner was good. Staff were friendly and helpful
Housekeeping was very poor. The carpet in the room had not been vacuumed properly.The window could not be shut. There was no toilet brush. I stayed a 2nd night. At 2.45 pm next day my room had still not been serviced. I asked for it to be done but all the cleaner did was fold the towels. I asked her to clean the toilet and basin and then pull the bed together . The room, 117, was noisy, as a staff member agreed. There were a large number of rooms vacant so why was I put there?
