Poor
No air conditioning. Dirty walls and dirty windows. The bathroom was very clean. The bedsheets were very clean. It was a single bed with about a 4 inch mattress on it. They did supply a fan, but it did not cool the room. The windows could only be opened about 2 inches so there was no air ventilation.. really miserable. Apparently. Only some of the single rooms are like this, and they were very open about it when I checked in, but that didn’t help me at that point I was stuck with this room.

Central location
No air con and windows barely opened. It was like an oven inside the rooms during the summer heat. This is poor form for such an expensive hotel

The location and room layout were great, we had been here before and enjoyed but this time ...
There was no way of keeping the room cool in the heatwave, no through breeze or air conditioning so no sleep. We tried various windows open or closed, curtains open or closed permutations and multiple cool showers but to no avail, there was one small fan that just circulated the same air around. Also the bar was being run down of drinks and only breakfast was available, I believe all this is because of upcoming renovations but no mention of this when booking and no decrease in price.

Very Poor
Location, location, location
I was put in a tiny, 3rd floor room with a narrow single bed. The room was extremely hot, with insufficient cooling & only a tiny window gap. It was so hot that I could not sleep, even with an extra fan. Awful experience & I do not intend to return

The beds were comfortable. Location good
BAD smell in the room, NO AIRCON. We struggled to sleep with the smell coming from the bathroom. Outside was cooler than in the room. They do not clean properly, rather just tidy the bed and clean the bathroom.

The only good thing about this hotel is the location.
Shappy, out-dated, no air-conditioning, very slow WIFI, the place is running on empty.

Very Good
Location is excellent. The room was not what I’ve booked, and the following day the manager Victoria moved us to a room with double bed, no bad smell and air conditioning
First room they gave us was not the room I’ve booked. Single beds and bad smell in the bathroom. Reception person was very unhelpful, luckily after we had dinner a new team was at reception and accommodated us in a lower level room where we could sleep. The following day the manager Victoria resolved the problem

The staff on the front desk
For £220 I would have expected better. No aircon made the stay extremely uncomfortable. We were on the second floor and it was like a furnace and no windows could be opened.

Pleasant
Good location, pleasant lobby, comfortable bed
Hottest hotel room I’ve ever experienced- windows only opened a tiny amount so no relief even at night. The room smelled bad too. Weak shower and fittings attached to the walls were not straight.
