The location was ideal
Breakfast was not included despite being charged for it, and I have been unable to get a response from the company since regarding my refund for the breakfast I was charged for.
No staff on site to speak to when there was an issue.
There was a strong smell of sewage in the bathroom when it rained.
The room was not as clean as I would like. There were stains all along the walls and cob webs everywhere.

Very close to Oxford Centre, bed was very comfortable and the room was very clean, only spoke to a member of staff on the phone but very helpful and polite

Excellent location, just 100m from shops, restaurants and amenities of the lovely part of Oxford called Summertown. Bus stop about 50-100m away, for a quick ride to Oxford centre. Rooms were of good expected quality (considering it is an older property, a converted terraced house), had everything needed and well equipped, and was clean. The hosts were responsive (had to call them to access) and showed us around nicely. Parking was a big plus for us. It was a short one-night stay for our family of four, and the two rooms at OYO Lonsdale was a perfect base for our trip to Oxford.

Room was clean, comfortable and had all required amenities. Good location and parking was easy.
There are quite a few guesthouses on that stretch of road and the only place it said the name of this property was on a piece of paper on the door which made it a little challenging to find when coming by car. I didn't receive any arrival instructions or information beforehand and so when I couldn't get in I had to call a number that was on the door. The person on the phone was lovely and polite, but asked me what room number I was in, but I didn't know as I hadn't received any info. Had to wait for a call back, who then gave me my room number and lockbox code. Would have been great to receive this in advance or just clear instructions on what to do. However, this was a minor point and would stay again.
