Great location, lovely walk into central Oxford via the canal path. Comfortable beds with lovely quality bed linen. Fab breakfast and friendly, helpful staff.

Room was clean and easy access into the city
It would have been nice to have been warned about building works next to the property. Within 2 metres of out room was a building site. Works started early our first morning, nothing like a relaxing morning to our weekend away!!!!

Clean, nice facilities and amenities in the room. The WiFi was good and I slept well.
Unfortunately there was a lot of banging near my room. Perhaps just noisy neighbours upstairs or below. Thankfully after an hour or so it stopped. The staff were fine but not overly friendly. The lady worker in the Marco Pierre White restaurant huffed and puffed at a lot of customers though when trying to get a table if they didn’t book. A little rude.

The location is ideal as it has a bus stop outside, giving easy access to the city. There is a large carpark ( additional payment). The staff were very welcoming and offered exceptional service in their manner and approach. Our room was well appointed with a very comfortable, large bed. We were able to have a good night’s sleep without noise or disturbance. The breakfast was an excellent quality, offering a wide selection of foods from hot traditional fayre to continental meats/ cheeses as well as fruits, cereals and a variety of breads/ croissants. There was the opportunity to use the pool and spa, although unfortunately we weren’t able to do so this time. We would definitely choose to stay again!
