Excellent hotel - quality of room, reception staff welcome and roll top bath. A hotel that made me feel very special.
Parking is a little tight - however there’s great parking locally at the train station at a decent price. 5 minutes walk away,

Nice blend of the organisation of a big hotel with the charm and distinctiveness of a boutique hotel. Rooms are lovely and full of nice little touches. I'd particularly like to shout out the bar manager who was very helpful and knowledgeable about wines and gins. I perfect way to end a lovely day.

Room was very good, spacious and comfortable…excellent idea re not using housekeeping in between gets you a drink at the bar! Bathroom was a delight. Big walk in shower and separate roll top bath. Gallons of hot water with a good pressure.
The bed was 2 joined together…I know most places do it and I understand why…but I would still like one bed.

Hotel du Vin is in the perfect location for visiting the town or long walks along the Thames. It has just been refurbished and the decor is lovely.
The only disadvantage is that there is not a lift, but the staff were very helpful taking luggage to our room on the 2nd floor.

Excellent location although we found it difficult to find the carpark and didn't know we had to pay £15 on top of our rate. Maybe we didn't read it properly
Extras we were unaware of. I think water with a meal and extras on service were a bit much . That said we loved the hotel and staff but made it more than we wanted to pay.
