Breakfast was good but same every day (we were there 5 nights!). Everything was great - our only problem was the hot water in the shower never got hot...just luke warm. They came to fix it but didn't help.

Comfortable bed & pillows, breakfast was more than adequate but a little expensive I think. room was spacious but would have preferred a walk in shower as my partner struggled stepping over bathtub edge.
Bath Tub, would prefer walk in shower. Breakfast was too expensive.

We were upgraded and given a room on the ground floor, which was very generous.
The shower in that room was spacious and excellent. Good supply of soaps and shampoos.
Heavy curtains completely blocked the lights of incoming cars to the parking spaces outside the window.
The bed was comfortable.
The room was quiet.
The dining area was spacious and very welcoming. Tables well spread out for ease.
Breakfast was excellent. Gluten free well provided for, except that for the two days we were they advertised GF sausages, but didn't have them.
The room smelt musty, even after two days of air blowing through the heating/a/c vents.
The duvet was heavy. Duvet cover didn't appear to be clean.
TV was enormous and dominated the room. We don't all watch TV.

Promised 'free snacks' - which we didn't want or need - were so paltry that it would have been better not to have provided them.
Fridge temperature was too high to keep anything cool.

Breakfast was really good, lots of choice, room spacious and clean, staff friendly and helpful, good location for park and ride which is the best way to get to the city
The one thing that let down our stay was the room service we ordered, took over an hour for 2 Tuna sandwiches to arrive, and when they did I'm sorry to say that they were nearly inedible, no cucumber as on the menu, and the bread was actually crunchy the plastic lid covering the sandwiches was warm, and for a charge of over £20 is not acceptable, needless to say didn't order room service again.

Exceptional
The hotel is an affordable option for visiting Oxford. Spacious room with a sofa, fridge, work table. Good wifi. Reception staff were exceptionally nice and helpful. Bed very comfortable. Great hot shower. Quiet at night.
The 300 bus into downtown Oxford is a few minutes walk from the hotel. Buses are frequent and run all day and into the late evening. The ride is only 15 minutes or so.

I like that it was in a convenient location.
The room was dirty. The carpet was wet. The toilet had stains because it wasn't cleaned properly. No hair dryer, only 2 towels.
