It was relaxed, and comfortable
The evening restaurant and bar had few staff. Long waiting times.
Card payment only. . Should allow cash choice

Pleasant
The setting and building was nice.
The room was fine but it was the access facilities room so no real counter space in the bathroom. There was a large doors but it was on the bottom floor so felt exposed as it was looking out onto an access path.
We got a coffee from room service that was disgusting. I'd have preferred espresso pods/machine in the room rather than instant coffee.
The cleaner also walked in very quickly around 11:45 so just before checkout and my partner was getting changed so that was a bit unsettling.

Very Good
Location, friendly staff
Room was not designed practically and bathroom too small. For example, only one bedside table in a double room, no mirror above dressing table, so drying hair etc has to be done by sitting on floor near long mirror in hallway

The housekeeping staff did a marvellous job - room was extremely tidy and clean
Lack of facilities was the main issue alongside no available of room service at all

Wonderful
Room was great and comfortable, AC worked really nicely. Breakfast was good. Staff was the highlight for sure - so nice and welcoming. Location was good, but not as accessible if you don't have a car.
For some reason the toilette was very annoying to flush. Took a very long time and you couldn't use it frequently because it wouldn't flush. Very annoying

Location
We use this hotel a few times and disappointed in size of room. My husband ended up sleeping on the floor as the double bed was small
The room was small and bathroom washbasin a joke !!! It was tiny
We both felt shoved up in elm house with our little dog and before we always felt at home.
We weren’t allowed the main lounge for dinner with our dog. Breakfast we were but I think the lovely girl felt sorry for us at 7am !!
Won’t be back which is so disappointing, what happened ?!

Exceptional
Comfortable, plenty of room, quick walk to the bus station. It was great for a family of 4 as the sofa bed had a bunk bed option
Dinner service was very slow, though good.

Exceptional
The property was absolutely perfect for our quick weekend away trip. Only a 40min walk from Oxford city centre and such a pretty riverside walk. Hotel was quiet and the beds were so comfy! Loved the breakfast and room was all we needed.
Nothing to not like

Pleasant
Extremely professional, friendly and helpful front of house staff. Surprisingly good evening meals!
Very dusty bedroom with unclean cups. Nowhere to dry bath towels. Shambles during breakfast (no plates, cups, broken coffee machine, missing fruit options) not what one expects for £18 each!
