Disappointing
location of the hotel is very good, the staff were good.
Noise from the plant immediately outside our west facing window was a major problem. No air conditioning meant that the room was really hot (or hot and noisy). Rooms on other side of hotel should be OK...
No net courtian so rooms opposite could look ino room once cutains were drawn. Shower head was broken

Fair
The location is central.
The bed is very uncomfortable - old spring mattress. It wasn't too hot when I stayed but I could see this being stuffy during summer. I would recommend staying a little out of town for better value and a comfier bed.

Disappointing
The location. We were going to a show at the New Theatre, Oxford and the hotel was just across the road.
No lift, the total lack of any catering facility. No air conditioning in bedroomd

Wonderful
It is well located and it’s a fair value/money price
The room might get too hot and there’s a shortage on the ventilator or the bathroom.

Very Good
A nice basic hotel close to Gloucester Green; nothing outstanding but it was a decent and clean room with all the basic amenities.
It is not your typical fresh modern hotel room but does the job.

Very Good
Very friendly staff at this small hotel which is a good price by Oxford standards. The room was nice and we had a great sleep on the beds. All the facilities worked well and I would stay here again. I was worried about noise from George Street but there was only a bit and after the pubs closed it was blissfully quiet all night.

Very Good
Great central location. Really friendly and welcoming reception staff. Able to leave small luggage after checkout.
No lift. Not enough tea/ milk for visit. Very hot at night even with fan as internal sliding window needed to be closed to block out loud nightlife noise below.

Good
Close walking distance to train station. Some pubs and bars on the street but no noise in hotel. Room had kettle. Staff stayed around for our late check-in. Hotel room was expensive yet it was still about the cheapest available in the city.
Expensive, yet it was about the cheapest available in the city.

The location was good in central Oxford.
There was a heatwave outside and there was no functional air conditioning system. :-/

Very Poor
Nothing about this property is nice or likeable.
The damp smell as you entered was enough to walk back out the door.
The carpet was disgusting in our room the paint on the skirting boards hanging off.
No air con.
Photos are a scam and aren't anything like the real rooms
We left 15mins after checking in. The reception didn't even acknowledge we weren't happy and instantly checked out. Location was great if you don't want to sleep and sweat all night.
