Exceptional
No problems at all, clean, tidy and reviews aren’t all true. Music does go on u til 12.30am on a week day but along you know that it’s no problem at all. Comfy, adequate, clean and friendly

Location, within the center.
Bath’s irrigation is blocked.
Sink is blocked.
Very noisy environment during the night. Literally no sleep until bars closed.

Great location and guy on reception was helpful as to was not working due to poor internet.
Room was a good size for the two of us.
There was no hot water from the sink tap, we had to use the kettle for our hot water. Just to say we had to use a cup to fill the kettle as it would not fit under the tap.
The internet was not working and when it was it soon dropped out again.
Even though we had a room at the rear of the hotel and quite high, the noise from late night discos and party goers was very noticeable. The secondary glazing did not appear to help.
One of the pillows had a big sweat mark and wasn’t used.
Parking was also non existent as local car parks wanted over £40 for 24 hours, we stayed further afield for £8.50 for 48 hours and used park and ride.
Sad affair as location was great.

The small leters say they have a bar. So I expected some music. I was wrong. Its a full club, and even throughout the week, the music was often really loud in my room until closing time.

Location was excellent for my requirements.
Room was clean (but tatty)
Bed was hard but comfortable.
TV worked
Tea making facilities were there and worked.
Steps from street were steep.
There was a sign saying rooms needed refurbishment and they meant it!
Room was tatty. Carpet was 10 years past it's best.
No hot water in wash basin.
Shower worked but the holder was broken so it needed to be hand held.
All furnishings were old and tatty.
Lights over bed were missing one of them. Holes in wall where it used to be.
Lock on door didn't automatically lock when closed so door was unlocked all night and had to be manually locked on leaving! (Found out myself by trying!)

The place is central
Unfortunately, the room was in very poor condition. The shower was broken, and the wardrobe was damaged as well. The room was also extremely noisy — we could hear not only the traffic and street noise, but also conversations and other noise coming from the neighbouring rooms. The lack of soundproofing was particularly disappointing, as it made it almost impossible to sleep. Overall, the condition of the room and the level of noise made for a very unpleasant stay.

The location was great and it did have a good price for an en suite bedroom with (mostly) nice decor.
The stairs upto the hotel were very steep and we were on the top floor. The small size of the room meant that we didn't want to spend excess time in the room, but for that price it is a good place to crash, after experiencing a long day in Oxford. The room looked it was recently decorated, but the paint was bubbling up due to perhaps mould/damp.
There was also a hole in the bathroom ceiling directly above the toilet which made me feel uneasy.

Good central location near to the train station. Receptionist friendly and helped us with heavy suitcases.
There are notices that state that the place is due to be renovated and it's clear that the place needs it, overall the communal areas are scruffy.
WiFi didn't work but at least the receptionist made us aware.

Only the location.
There was mold, hair, and bugs in the room. The mattresses were stained yellow and the bathroom was atrocious. I was afraid of bed bugs as the hotel smelled like socks and sweat. There’s loud booming music underneath at the bar and I woke up two wasps in my room and a slug from the window that wouldn’t shut. Don’t stay here!
