The room was very new however with humidity marks in the roof.
It’s a a self check in hotel. So there was absolutely no one there. They don’t have elevator and no one to help with the bags. After check out I wanted to leave my bags for a hour. They say they have storage but simply tell you to leave the bags in the lobby, where everyone can get them.

I have absolutely nothing to say that was positive. This is the worst place I have stayed in for over 30 years
The hotel was in a very poor condition. Damp wall paper, broken windows where glass was taped, electrics hanging off the wall. The TV didn't work but I reported it and the staff fixed it. The wifi didn't work so they provided a different password. I decided not to try the shower during my stay as the bathroom was not good. The room had single glazing and broken taped up windows and was incredibly noisey from the nightlife downstairs, until approx 1.30am

The location is amazing between the train Station and the city centre, and the person I met at reception was friendly. The room was clean.
The whole place is run down: wallpaper and paint peeling off the walls, humidity marks in the bathroom, windows broken. It needs complete refurbishment.

The location
There was no one there when I arrived. The chairs are very steep. And the Bar below the hotel had a very loud band and loud crowd until 1:30 in the morning. It was horrible.

Absolutely nothing! It's a disgrace that booking.com advertise this place. We slept in the car it was that bad. I want a full refund!!!!!!!
Everything was shocking. Beds were filthy, walls were filthy, walls had holes in them, carpets were stained, windows were broken and stuck open or sellotaped together.

Conveniently located
The room is dirty, the ceiling and a showing signs of water infiltration, many things are broken, it is noisy, no air conditioning, needed to open the window and the noise from nearby pubs and shouting impacted our sleep.
The pictures on the ad were deceiving. The ad called the room a « deluxe room », which is also deceiving.
This was my worst hotel experience, never recommending this place.

We hated everything and checked out immediately.
The listing was very misleading. We had a horrible shared bathroom, doors that didn’t have proper keys, and a crappy hostel style bed. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE.

The location was convenient
It was very expensive for what it was. We arrived and it was confusing because the name of the hotel doesn’t match the name on Booking. We went into the bar downstairs to ask about checking in and the bartender said someone would come help us and then we sat and waited with our bags for 45 minutes before he came back and led us to an entrance next door. The hotel is very old and needs a lot of work. Gross old carpet. Old windows that let in all the noise. The bathroom window was broken and the hole taped over with packing tape, and random holes in the walls patched with duct tape. The door to the room didn’t lock. In the morning when we went out there was a man sleeping on the floor in the front entrance. It felt very sketchy.

Wonderful
The bed was comfortable with good pillows to sit up with. Wash basin in the room was convenient when using the kettle for tea and coffee and cleaning teeth. The single armchair, windows, curtains and heater were all good too and the share bathroom was nearby and quite nice. Stairs to access were not difficult or too steep and access to the building and to our room was easy.
The window outside our room was jammed quite wide open. Unable to be closed. And the carpet on the stairs looked dirty, some of which maybe due to renovations on a floor below ours.
