Clearly a popular wedding venue, which is perfectly fine, though it can make breakfast feel a little hectic at times. There are several pleasant indoor and outdoor areas to sit and relax. The location is good, with the centre of Oxford around a 60–90 minute walk along the river. The hotel was clean, and the staff were friendly and pleasant throughout.
Nothing particularly it was a very reasonable hotel and I probably would stay there again.

The stay was in a great location, walking distances from shops and very very scenic. The facilities are great, good food at the restaurant and good facilities with the gym, sauna and steam room.

Lovely farm house style hotel, friendly staff and nice to have a pool. Good value for money.
The spa area is a bit knackered and could do with renovating. Also only 2 places to lie down near the pool. There was a dog running round and barking when we were trying to eat dinner which wasn’t very relaxing. The food and cocktails were a bit average. Feels more like a wedding venue which caters and accommodates en masse as opposed to a residential hotel for short breaks.

Breakfast was delicious. It was all quickly replenished when anything was running low. However there could be a bit more choice or different foods e.g. different cheeses yoghurts etc. Staff are lovely and always helpful. Beds are comfy, maybe a bit soft for my liking, but that's personal preference. The hotel is cosy and has nice decor. The pool is lovely and has two nice steam rooms It would be good if there was a jacuzzi, but not the end of the world. During our second night it was very windy outside, which caused the room to creek considerably in room 209 - which made it hard for me and my wife to sleep. It would be good if they could sort this out as this was rather annoying, but could have been to exceptionally strong winds that night. Having to pay £10 a day for parking was a bit unnecessary, but hey ho. Overall we had a lovely stay and was good value for money. Thank you
