Good
The hotel is very nice, the room was comfortable in terms of space, and the staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast served had a good variety of food and beverages.
Perhaps it's the town, but for the price, I would have expected it to have air conditioning. It has an elevator but there a few steps to get to it. Coffee quality can certainly be improved. The water from the shower would easily go over to the entire bathroom floor.

Very Good
Location great.Clean and smart hotel.
Staff friendly and helpful generally.Comforfable bed,Breakfast mostly enjoyable.
Individual reception staff slightly abrupt.
Standard Room bathrooms are especially if you happen to be taller or larger than average, which fortunately we are neither.

Good
Good location and easy to get to the old town.
Easy parking right out front.
No air conditioning in the building which made the rooms very stuffy and hot.
A small bar fridge would be nice.

Good
I booked exec. room with king size bed but there were two single mattresses placed on top of a king size bed frame. This was not quality and comfortable.

Pleasant
Breakfast was very good, lots of choices at a good price. Location close to bus stop and loved the quiet neighborhood. Staff was hospitable and quick to meet our needs. The garden was a lovely place to relax.
No air conditioning, no fridge in the room, the reception did not bring us extra towels right away and had to be reminded, there was no easy way to get ice outside the bar, the design of the bathroom was awkward because the toilet was placed very close to the shower door

Pleasant
Welcoming staff, good breakfast.
Awoken c. 3am by crashing about in room overhead. Noise went on for a while & I thought I'd put TV on, to get some quiet music to distract me. But no sign of the remote control ... So poor night.

Very Poor
.
Terrible customer service and poor after sales treatment. Despite contacting Linton Lodge within minutes of booking to inform them we had booked in error, they refused to process a refund. We immediately checked with Booking.Com who confirmed on multiple occasions via phone calls and emails that a refund was entirely at the discretion of Linton Lodge. When I spoke to the receptionist at Linton Lodge, straight after booking, they confirmed they could and would cancel this for me through Booking.Com. Contrary to their stated intention, Linton Lodge then formally declined a refund when the request came through on their system. When I rang back to query this, they repeatedly hung up on me. The booking was for a single guest for one night, mid-week and was linked to a staff conference event. The accommodation was not full at the time and there was over a month to go before the scheduled stay. We could have provided Linton Lodge with additional and repeat custom from our other guests and staff. Due to the terrible customer service and poor treatment, we will avoid using this guest house in future.

I loved the location and the staff was very friendly and respect your privacy.
There are no fridges in the room. However, the staff was very accommodating and stored our cold drinks in the fridge of their own kitchen . Very impressed!

Wonderful
Staff was very friendly and helpful! Room was good, tidy and clean. Location was quiet and off the main roads outside city center for a peaceful stay.
Room was a bit small but not bad. Would have been quite tight for more than one person.

Easy enough and comfortable enough to stay at - will be visiting again.
Great distance from Oxford city centre - a 20 minute walk.
Unfortunately had a ground floor room. The room itself was fine, but lots of noise from the room above, as well as from people going up and down the stairs to other floors early in the morning.

Excellent sized room. Very clean and tidy.
Breakfast was first class with plenty of variety.
Location for hopping on the bus into Oxford centre was great
The soundproofing between rooms and corridor noise did wake us up several times which was a shame.

I opted for the dinner set menu, there was lots of choice and the food was really good. Breakfast buffet was amazing! I was visiting my old College (Wolfson) so location was perfect. Lovely and quiet.
The ONLY small hitch was that I could not get the shower above arctic temperatures. Very bracing!

Very limited parking. No AC at all, during a heat wave!

Poor
The staff warmed up. Need to smile and be friendlier. But in general helpful to book car services.
Outrageous that you expect the rate for the quality you deliver. The rooms were tiny! It does not state twin pullout, so we assumed would be bigger. Mattress was a lump. Sheets, pillow covers yellowish, not white, towels felt used. Bathroom tiny, two people could not be in there at the same time. No refrigerator. For price you charge get espresso or single use coffee machine.
Also no air ventilation in Hallways and lobby. There was one big fan, but again for price you charge I would have higher expectations. If you didn’t charge that much it would be fine, but your rate is robbery.
