Location.Reasonable welcome.
Minutel room . Hardly able to move round bed. Stuffy. Noises from adjoining rooms inc WCs. Noise from road all night.

Last floor, attic, very authentic. Hot water, bed, table, kettle, tea/coffee. Nice location, bus station and shops nearby.
Old house, everything is old and worn out. But if you came for a conference, just want to stay there for sleep it is perfect.

The location was very convenient. The beds were very comfortable, and the staff were kind enough to give us two fans to try and deal with the heat during the unprecedented heatwave.
The facilities were falling apart, the door kept getting stuck and the temperature of water that came out of the shower had nothing to do with whatever we had done to the dial. The family room was also really hot, being on the top floor, but that wasn't something the owner could really control in the middle of an unprecedented heatwave (and they did at least give us several fans to try and help with the heat).

I had a queen size bed for me as a solo traveler and it was amazing to see Oxford for a day. The bed was very comfortable and it included a small table and chair where you can prepare hot tea or coffee. Excellent when the weather is not warm.
The breakfast does not include a hot food alternative.
