Beautiful hotel with a lovely comfy bed.
The room was a great size and very comfortable.
It smelled absolutely beautiful.
I only stayed a night, but there were plenty of wardrobe and drawer space if you were staying longer.
I had breakfast included and it was delicious.
I'm vegan and I had plenty of options for both dinner and breakfast.
Staff were very friendly and attentive.
I was a single guest, but two chairs in the room would be good if you were staying as a couple.
A mini fridge to keep water cold would be fab.
The bin on the en suite was rusty.

Very tastefully decorated hotel. Very comfortable rooms. Excellent breakfast.
The menu in the restaurant was the same 'bar food' as the bar. For such a nice restaurant, it would have been nice to have an elevated menu.

The staff were very helpful and accommodating.
Disappointed with our original room in the attic having to climb two sets of narrow stairs which was a daunting prospect for two 86 year olds. Would like to thank your waitress Lara or Tara who listened to our complaint and obviously brought it to the attention of the management and we were moved to a more convenient room.

Breakfast was good. Varied selection and very tasty. Very comfy bed. Excellent shower.
Setting of breakfast. In the bar which caters for passing trade but means residents do not have the full breakfast experience (cereal, fruit, yog, extra toast/tea etc). Room a bit small for cases and frosting on lower windows would be good..had to keep blinds shut for privacy

When we arrived we were greeted by a very nice receptionist. The decor as you walk in is superb and classy, as was the room we were in. Unfortunately the toilet would not flush due to a faulty mechanism and as there were three of us (we were staying with our 17 year old son), the hotel changed us into two double rooms. It was very kind of them and one of the rooms, room 9, had a lovely bath. The rooms are decorated in lovely colour schemes and very clean. The beds are really comfortable. The location is great for visiting this small market town which has a few small shops and a couple of restaurants and lovely old cottages. We ate in the restaurant and the food was of a very good standard and the staff were lovely and polite. The breakfast the next morning was excellent too.
Unfortunately the shower wasn't hot and more like tepid in one of the rooms; however the bath in number 9 was gorgeously hot and very comfortable.

Nice enough to stay for a night, but any longer sleep deprivation would be an issue.
As the room was at the front overnight road noise made sleeping difficult. Very limited parking on site.

Everything was great , really friendly and professional staff, food was great, room and en-suite were perfect and nice and clean , the only thing I could possibly pick at was the road noise , but the room was right on the market square with the main road going past, so if I stayed again I would request a rear room, having said that the veiw in the morning of the market square was really nice, after 10pm it was really quiet and about 7am the town is waking , all in all would 100% stay again ?

There was nowhere I could find that was convenient to plug in and charge my electronic equipment. Also, there was a need for a comforatable chair in the room - there was plenty of space.

Perfect for me & my dog. The unexpected upgrade was really kind and made the stay even better. The staff were very attentive and the bar food hit the spot! All in all a very comfortable and safe place for a single female traveller to stay.
