Set in beautifully landscaped gardens, right by the water's edge, the award-winning Harbor Hotel Fowey has a scenic and peaceful location. The reception to the hotel and assistance offered was appreciated. The whole visit made pleasant with the most friendly and helpful staff from reception, restaurant and a workman whilst we were there the best we have encountered. We had a great view from room, breakfast and dinner good although maybe a bit more choice for latter. Room very comfortable. For want of a different title chamber maids ensured bedrooms well made, clean add tidy.
There wasn't anything we didn't especially like but the policy with gratuities shouldn't be added but visitors given the opportunity to provide. Some people whilst reluctant to pay would be embarrassed to ask for them to be removed.

I’m not prone to over complimenting but… Quite honestly, this was a fantastic long weekend break. The booking process, booking confirmation, car parking arrangements, special requirements, etc were brilliant and not a cold formality. On arrival the hotel is in a stunning location and very well decorated and charming. Even a Poirot old style elevator

I think the cooked breakfast could be included , but £10 a head is not outrageous . Paying extra to park is a bit odd but we understand.

Exceptional position with beautiful view to wake up to. Room spotless, Attentive cheerful staff especially front desk. Breakfast very good.

Fantastic view and super high standard of fittings and furnishings. Very professional staff. Well worth keeping in mind for a special occasion stay. Beautiful room.
Access in fowey was a little difficult for vehicles but no reflection on the hotel .

The position of Hotel is just the best view of Fowey. We have stayed here twice this year! We had a rear superior in room last time and this visit had a superior sea view room. Both were very roomy and well appointed. The bathrooms are very small we preferred rear room bathroom as had double sinks and just a shower and was more roomy than sea view room bathroom. We paid extra to park at hotel. We ate each night in Fowey as have many places to eat for all tastes. Sam’s is an excellent fish restaurant.
The bathroom in superior sea view room was very small I’m glad that my husband and myself are slim as if not would have been a struggle to use the loo!! Not much room at all ! The loo roll holder gets in way!

It was a last-minute booking, and I honestly couldn’t have hoped for a better place. I had a wonderful stay at this superb hotel in Fowey. Everything was absolutely perfect from start to finish. The view was truly exceptional — waking up to such beautiful scenery each day was a real highlight of my trip. The staff were all very friendly and welcoming. A very special thank you to Lucy, who went above and beyond to help me find a taxi on the 1st of January when none were available. Her effort and kindness were truly appreciated. I wouldn’t hesitate to return and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Fowey!
The only small disappointment was that the bath’s tub stopper didn’t work, so I was unfortunately unable to take a bath during my stay. Also, the room was a little bit cold. However, these were minor issues and did not take away from what was otherwise a fantastic experience.
