All accommodations (the views are amazing!), dining & staff were exceptional.
A male bar waiter at Gong was odd as he spoke a few not welcomed anecdotes. I was alone that night as my friend had checked out and departed. I was quiet taking in the beautiful views. Given the bar waiter remarks, I think he suggested I was at Gong for ill purpose. Given that male bar waiter comments, I did not feel comfortable or accepted. i immediately and quietly retreated to my suite at The Shard.

I absolutely love this hotel and have stayed many times, I love that each time I have booked my room looks slightly different from the previous booking and the view is spectacular. I stayed for my best friends birthday and they made a special effort in the room she was staying in which was lovely. We had afternoon Tea which was also fabulous as always. The experience of this hotel starts as soon as you stand waiting for the lift in the lobby and the smell just gets you. The beds are soooo comfy and I find myself never wanting to leave (little tip as for a room with a view from the bath). This hotel is expensive but you get what you pay for. My only disappointment this visit was breakfast, it seemed very slow for some reason and this is something I have never experienced before. My tea was poured and I asked for sugar twice before it came and when it did my tea was cold unfortunately.

We stayed in the smaller suite. Room was as you would expect for this type of establishment. Large, immaculate, all the conveniences of walk in wardrobe two toilets well stocked mini bar etc. Staff were again as you would expect, very attentive, helpful and accommodating to any request. We had room service in the evening and it was of a high standard and a fair price. We had evening cocktails and enjoyed the view, which was a memorable experience. Breakfast was of a high standard and the staff were very accommodating of our 2 year old daughter.

I had an amazing experience at the Shangri-La Hotel at The Shard.The view was breathtaking, the drink at Gong was fantastic. I loved relaxing by the pool ,the view was amazing.

Over promise and under deliver Rude and arrogant staff
They charged extra £1,100 for two nights and didn’t give the Suite that was promised and requested for the additional amount of £1,100 for upgrade. Room not clean until 4 pm on Sunday. Came to room at 3 pm and was still dirty!

Location was great and the view was amazing
The 2 lift entry, first left is to reception and the another lift down takes you to the room, needed to 2 take 2 lefts to get out and to main lobby.. a bit annoying.

We were so impressed with the reception staff. They were welcoming and really went the extra mile for us. We were also so appreciative of the upgrade you gave us for our wedding anniversary, and the lovely note written on the window. This is why we always stay at your hotel whenever we visit London. It was all really good, but we think the martini glasses at the GONG bar could have been a bit more modern! That is very pedantic of us to say, though.
