Located on the banks of the River Thames, Sea Containers London is in the famed Sea Containers House, just a 7-minute walk from the Tate Modern and Shakespeare's Globe Theater. The hotel is also 15 minutes' walk from the London Eye, Borough Market, The London Dungeon and SEA LIFE London Aquarium. Sea Containers London features a riverside restaurant with outdoor seating, a cocktail bar, an agua spa, a rooftop bar and a terrace with panoramic views over London. Great location on Southbank and spacious room with very comfortable bed and great power shower. Impeccable customer service from all staff throughout hotel. Good breakfast and lovely to sit and people watch if you have a window view as dining room overlooks Southbank walkway and river, I was looking directly at St Paul’s Cathedral which was lovely. The hotel hosts a Curzon cinema which is a great option if you want to give your feet a rest.
Better wardrobe space would be good if you are staying for more than 2 nights - ok for a weekend - a minor point and not a deal breaker

Location. Comfort of the bed. The view across the river to St Pauls.
Overpriced for an average, somewhat stuffy room, and the bar, food etc was very expensive. No real coffee & tea making supplies in the room.

Loved this hotel for a number of reasons. 1/ It lived up to expectations - no mean feat when there are hundreds of positive reviews on this site. 2/ The hotel receptionists were so welcoming (and they also accommodated our request for a superior double with a river view, which they didn't have to do - so kind). 3/ Loved the hotel lobby - thought it fabulous. 4/ The bar at the top was superb, run by friendly waiters making complex looking cocktails. 5/ It was such a central location right on the river Thames that we walked everywhere. 6. It was something else to come back to a hotel room with a view of the iconic London skyline - wow! Wonderful stay! Thank you.
Perhaps would have preferred matching brands of toiletries in the bathroom, but hey, it wasn't a big problem. They were nice brands!

I thought by booking a superior room I would have a river view, I didn’t but when I asked if possible I was moved to a higher floor, with a view. I just think the descriptor photos should reflect this.
