Located on the banks of the River Thames, Sea Containers London is in the famed Sea Containers House, just a 7-minute walk from the Tate Modern and Shakespeare's Globe Theater. The hotel is also 15 minutes' walk from the London Eye, Borough Market, The London Dungeon and SEA LIFE London Aquarium. Sea Containers London features a riverside restaurant with outdoor seating, a cocktail bar, an agua spa, a rooftop bar and a terrace with panoramic views over London. Stayed in one of the new cabins which was absolutely beautiful. Loved all the extras including champagne breakfast. Fantastic service and lots of little touches that made the stay even more special.

Beautiful hotel, excellent location on the Southbank.
We arrived at 5pm to check in and told our room wasn’t ready even though check in is at 3. On questioning this we were told it’s because the previous tenants had a late check out. We asked to be put in a different room and were told that the only available ones were accessible rooms and that I would likely be uncomfortable as I was tall and the beds and bathroom fixtures were low down so we declined and opted to wait. We were told it would be ‘only’ 30 mins or so. When we were finally given a room we found that we’d been given an accessible room anyway where the bed and some bathroom fixtures were super low. I normally wouldn’t care at all but as I’d paid good money for a nice weekend away with my wife I felt this was worth commenting on. We asked to change rooms and they fixed the problem. I think our biggest problem is the blunt nature in which we were told we couldn’t check in yet. If they’d at least acknowledged the inconvenience or given us a drink at the bar while we waited I wouldn’t have cared at all. But the attitude towards the whole thing was very much that it wasn’t this member of staff’s problem. I should point out literally every other staff member was awesome and super helpful.

The location was amazing, very near St Pauls Cathedral and close to Waterloo train station and Underground station. The bedroom was super comfortable, spacious and with great amenities.

Breakfast was really good and reception were really helpful as we requested extra tea and fresh milk which was delivered in good time.
The only downside was the bath as I am only 5 foot tall and I found the sides of the bath really high.
