We booked because of the rooftop bar and only learned upon arrival that only 18+ are allowed there so we missend it completely

Location was great, close to everything and multiple public transport options with black cabs also always out the front.
There was no storage to put anything in the room, many of the fittings were broken and the taps were painful

The room was clean, the walls sufficiently thick to not hear our neighbours, and the black-out curtains allowed us to sleep in. The water stations on each floor were a very nice touch. It's also very close to Tate Modern and various forms of public transport.
When checking in, the kind front desk worker told us we had been upgraded from a river view deluxe to a studio. However, it wasn't an upgrade as far as we could tell. After all, the studio has a bath, while we didn't. So we felt like they just told us that we had gotten an upgrade as it was our honeymoon, rather than actually giving us one. Also, we booked this hotel for the views (which were nice, but from our room they were definitely less nice than what the pictures on their website imply) and for their cocktail bar and rooftop bar. The idea was that we'd end each day with a celebration in one of these bars followed by just getting into the elevator to get to our room. We were especially excited by the promise of live music at the rooftop bar. Yet when we arrived all dressed up, it turned out to be a DJ playing extremely loud EDM with guests sitting solemnly at their tables. The same happened at the downstairs cocktail bar. We spent a good amount of money on this place as it was our honeymoon and wanted something special. But if we'd have known what we know now, we'd have gone for a different option. It definitely put a damper on our first night as a married couple.
