Located on the banks of the River Thames, Sea Containers London is in the famed Sea Containers House, just a 7-minute walk from the Tate Modern and Shakespeare's Globe Theater. The hotel is also 15 minutes' walk from the London Eye, Borough Market, The London Dungeon and SEA LIFE London Aquarium. Sea Containers London features a riverside restaurant with outdoor seating, a cocktail bar, an agua spa, a rooftop bar and a terrace with panoramic views over London. Great location and our room was clean and comfortable. Staff were very polite.
We arrived after check in time and still had to wait over 45 minutes for the room. In the end the staff switched us to another room but then the champagne I ordered to be in our room at arrival didn’t turn up and our bags were also sent to the wrong place and it took a while for everything to end up in the correct place. The staff were all very sweet and accommodating but the whole check in was rather laborious. It was about 2 hours after we arrived that we were in a room with our luggage and the champagne. It wasn’t their fault, I believe the guest before us had overstayed and delayed everything but we were staying for our anniversary and had dinner reservations we had to rush to get ready for. For the price I would have expected a more seamless check in process.

It’s in such a great location, with beautiful views of the Thames. Stylish and classy decor with well appointed rooms. Staff were fantastic and upgraded us to a suite, which was a wonderful surprise and much appreciated. Wish we could have stayed longer!
Only small issue was that the phone in our room didn’t seem to work.
