Had an absolutely fantastic stay! The rooms are lovely! The bathrooms are lovely, staff were super friendly and couldn’t do enough for us. The food is exceptional! I had a single room expecting a single bed but the bed was more like a small double! Really clean and had a little history to it as well which I loved.
I had an issue with the hot water in my room. In that there wasn’t any, otherwise I would have scored this a 10! It will be fixed for the next guests but it couldn’t be helped as there was no one to fix it at the time of my stay.

The hotel itself was okay, however doesn't quite earn the title "Worldhotel Distinctive" in it's title. Maybe 3* rather than 4. I liked the room overall, the grounds looked lovely. Great parking, the waiter on the first night was good and checkin was seamless. Also thankful for later checkout time which was agreed by man at the desk and the manager Matthew, who kindly took my bag to the room.
There were minor repairs in the bathroom which lowered the standard of the hotel: broken tap, soap holder over the bath and pipe to shower head was leaking in opposite direction. No plugs at bedside for charging phones. Bed was far too soft. No room service but agreement to bring main meal and drink to room which arrived uncovered, carried by staff member without a tray down the corridor! My friend did not receive cutlery either. There were other issues which Matthew the manager rectified but these would prevent me from recommending or visiting hotel again. Also receptionist Charlotte was rude in dealing with these issues and struggled to accept feedback from myself as a paying customer!!

The property was fine the staff were lovely and very friendly and helpful.
We didn’t have hot water in the bathroom and had to ring down to reception three times it’s obviously an ongoing problem. Being vegan I never expect much and I wasn’t disappointed. My evening meal was a vegan Wellington I think it had been microwaved as the pastry was soggy and raw. The potatoes were good. They gave a bowl of ice cream to compensate me? The breakfast was ok.

I would have given this 5 stars if I had any hot water!
There is a sign in the bathroom saying run the water for 10 mins but I run it for 15 and it was still cold, ending up having a cold shower before work so was not ideal.

Very friendly staff, very clean rooms. Will definitely stay again when working in MK.
It’s just a little grip but the pillows were thin and lumpy and as I had a single room there were no others in the wardrobe, I actually kept waking up with a stiff neck, which was such a shame as the bed was very comfy.

Staff was very friendly and courteous. We chose it because it was close to Bletchley Park. Nice place if you’re looking for a hotel with meal service that has a boutique feel. Decor is fun…love the ‘hidden’ dining area. We had breakfast and dinner there and everything was great. While we didn’t look around outside, what we saw was really peaceful.
Wasn’t excited to carry luggage up a staircase, but hotel does promote that it does not have a guest elevator.

The breakfast was very good although the coffee was not the best. Would have been nice to have had crossiants that were not dusted with icing sugar so I could have had one with my hot breakfast.
It says there is coffee maker. All there is is a kettle not the expected coffee machine. A really poor selection of tea and coffee sachets and not the expected biscuits we had received on our tea tray in previous hotels we stayed in.

water takes 10 minutes before it is hot. Older hotel which you can tell wasn’t kept up as well before the new owners bought it, deferred maintenance inside and out but still a lovely place

Breakfast good and nice selection, but hold on to your plate as they take it away so fast after your last mouthful...
Paper thin walls, hotel used as party venue at weekends, noise till midnight and restaurant closed on weekends so very limited bar food and only at 6pm, you snooze, you lose... We were not advised of this an there is no mention on Booking.com hotel description.

We did encounter 1 really lovely hospitality trainned and certinaly not her remit to waitress but went out her way to make us a coffee due to refusal of front of house person to do so from the bar.

Where do i start with this place! Says it all really.
Rooms need more lightening especially around the mirror, freezing cold room, not enough sockets, cracked tile in bathroom and empty space where a fridge should be, tv remote needed batteries replacing. Not enough milk and tea and coffee.
Breakfast- Awful. Everything is stone cold. I get its buffet but it could do with heat lamps not burners to keep everything warm. It was freezing and ineatable.
Coffee was in a urn and was watery and disgusting tastes like manky dishwater. Also freezing cold.
No member of staff in the breakfast area to approach so took upon self to try save other guests from freezing cold coffee ( if you can call that coffee) and turn the urn on. No coffee machines in a place like this im shocked.
Very outdated way of doing breakfast.
Definitely not worth £15 per person. I've had better mac ds breakfasts.

We were here visiting a terminally ill immediate member of our family on her final days to met with this disgusting hostile women. Absolute appalled by her manner.

It was so beautifully decorated with nice furnishings and the room and bed was so clean and comfortable. I was upgraded to a king size room with no extra charge instead of a single which was an amazing treat! The room had a large TV which was very enjoyable to watch. Thank you so much!
