I like the location as it is peaceful and beautiful
The size of the room was a good for 2 people and the beds were comfortable
The bathroom sink needs to be updated as it is rusted beyond belief

Very Good
Good hotel in a great locations. Rooms were very nice and the bar had a good selection.
Breakfast was not well managed, causing confusion for guests. Breakfast was actually a buffet oposed to table service as advertised on website. Food quality and choice was good, but the setting needs some attention.

Good
Super friendly staff and a great evening meal and good quality breakfast. Shout out to the waiter on shift in Seasons on night of 12/9, he was incredibly accommodating. A lovely guy. Very convenient for Bletchley Park. Good menu range and drinks range.
Comfortable beds. Realistic pricing.
The seating in the bar area isn’t that comfortable. The musak played in that area excruciating if you are a lover of good music and too loud. Lovely staff turned it down but it was tacky and didn’t in my view enhance the atmosphere - I would have preferred it quiet.
The air con in room 203 makes a noise like a light clicking on and off continuously, so couldn’t sleep with it on, but room too hot without.
Our friend in Room 202 slipped getting into the bath because of smooth surface. The shower in that room was extremely sensitive and hard to regulate leading from very cold to hot suddenly - this is a hazard. Shower/bath needed instructions.
Shame to have a mini bar without anything in it.
Please also check the public toilets downstairs regularly; one had clearly not been checked.

Poor
The location and the look of the property was beautiful, the staff were polite.
Room facilities and food were not great. In room robes hanging in wardrobe had big holes in them, no tea, coffee etc had to ask at reception for some. Sofa bed was not fit for purpose, son ended up having to leave. Room service had to use own phone to contact them, but ended up going to reception, as no answer.
Dinner, no flavour, kids left theres and at a cost of over £100, was not cheap. Breakfast limited selection and again no flavour coffee machine produced warm not hot coffee.
Overall a very expensive and disappointing experience.

The staff were very attentive. There was an excellent breakfast selection.
Our room was in an annexe and was quite small compared to those in the main building.

Beautiful hotel in lovely grounds with friendly staff.
Limited parking as there was a wedding . Beautiful room but terrible smell of sewage from the bathroom !

Wonderful
Stunning location beautiful grounds, Spotlessly clean lovely room with comfortable bed and helpful staff. Generous en-suite size. Although sited in beautiful countryside this hotel has good connections to MK attractions. It took just 12 minutes to Bletchly Park. It is a historic house (e.g. it does not have a purpose built main reception) so it can be forgiven to have some old fashioned aspects which adds to its charm.
The dinner menu was quite limited so we went to a nearby pub for dinner the next day. However when arriving after a long journey it was very nice to be able to book a table in the hotel the first night.

Breakfast was a normal buffet, with cereal and cooked options, all on a self-serve basis. The breakfast staff worked very hard to keep everything fully stocked.
Our room was quiet and very comfortable.
The breakfast room needed an extra coffee machine and a second toaster. Queues for both were unacceptably long at times.

Breakfast time - had to ask for cuttlery, plates and cup as run out of everything but couple of staff chatting instead of checking the facilties.

Very Good
Well located and nice location. Spacious room which was clean and well decorated. The staff were friendly and keen to help. Food was good.
Location of the reception was not clear and should have a sign. Same applies to the secret dining room hidden behind wallpapered doors.
Hot water tap in bathroom was just a trickle and the mixer spout was wobbly.
