Friendly helpful staff. Comfortable clean bed. Lovely reception/cafe area.
Our room could have been cleaner, cobwebs on the ceiling, spiders around the window, carpet needed a good vacuum. Poor water flow in the shower. Very noisy outside our window, draymen making deliveries at 7am.

Comfortable bed, smart TV and decent shower
Not really a hotel any more. No reception, no restaurant, just a pub with rooms. Room was small. Wifi was poor. Room door lock was old and fiddly. Single glazed sash window with room facing out onto the noisy main street (I did ask for a quiet room).

Central location. Historic building. Very good breakfasts.
No evening meals available but plenty of choice in the village nearby.
Late night fire alarm sounded (false alarm) but there seemed to be no procedure for directing or checking guests.
