Good location,reasonable clean and the staff were first class.
It felt a little cramped in places ,stairs,lift,but the age of the building was probably the reason.
Only the low wall to the hotel car park which is not easily visible and an accident waiting to happen

Lovely staff, so friendly and helpful. Location.
A small thing, but breakfast extras were cleared away before we had finished, so we missed out on pastries and fruit etc.

We were impressed with the staff and service.. They were welcoming and attentive. The food and service were excellent. We went back several days for morning coffee and Sunday dinner after we had checked out. We enjoyed drinks outside at the bar.
The rooms were large clean and comfortable especially considering it is a 15th century coaching inn.
The location is in the heart of the town. Walking distance to everything.
We could happily have stayed longer.
The rooms, we had 2, were clean as were the dining and sitting areas. The paint in the hallways was marred by fingerprints most likely from guests.. The hotel was having some work done so hopefully that will be corrected. Overall it was minor.
