The mattress was comfortable to sleep on
Had difficulty getting into past the barrier .
Really old & dated,furniture/decor/bathroom/carpets, shower room was old & dated toilet had a backwards flush,shower was very ancient, water temperature was fluctuating
Carpet was very old & wet .
Extremely poor quality not what was expected from Ramada

The Remada was good value for money however this is the very first hotel I’ve stayed at that even after playing the going rate you still get charged for parking wow I cannot get my head round this your hotel is on the Newport service station you have no alternative but to have a car to drive there unbelievable

Booked last minute on line (2 hours before arrival).
No problem checking in, very straight forwards.
Room good for the price, very comfortable.
Well rested the next day.
Small bar area, not a big selection and manned by front desk staff. adiquate for a reasonable priced hotel like this.
Didn't realise that there was a £5 charge for the car park but that was probably due to me not reading the description well. I don't deduct score for this.

Was close to a venue
They charged my card extra money than what the price was and then when I asked them about it said it was for parking I hadn’t even getting to the hotel so they never even knew I had a car so that shouldn’t have been allowed, 3 staff in reception/bar talking on with each other and was told would be with me in 2mins so was waiting for a drink in the end just left and went over to the service station communication was terrible

Plenty of facilities good sized rooms
Rooms require work, curtains hanging off, shower cubicle handle missing, looks dated and requires maintainance generally.

Astonishing lack of directional signs to the hotel within the motorway service station. There’s none in fact!
Access gate was unusable - no information given and I was stuck outside for 20 mins.
Service in restaurant was poor. Got served cold chips.
