Just what we wanted for one night. The room had a fridge, cutlery, crokery and a microwave which could be very useful if staying longer.

Nice and quiete room
Needs updating and refreshing especially the bathroom, needs updating to a full shower like some rooms on the ground floor as being in our 70's it's difficult stepping into a high sided bath to use the shower

The bed is extremely comfortable.
It's very quiet and barely any noises.
The bedroom carpet seems to be new which was nice to see.
It's a clean hotel, clean bathroom and bedroom.
Staff are very welcoming.
The furniture is very old and outdated.
The bathroom decoration seems to be old too.

The staff were great. Helpful and polite.
The room was clean and tidy and despite us only staying 2 nights they did come in during the day and make the beds and change the towels.
The location was good and having the pub next door was a real bonus for grabbing food and a relaxing drink on our return.
The rooms are dated and a bit tired.
