The room had agreat view of the boats in the canal basin. the sun was out, it was warm. There was a micrwave and fridge in the room . Nice shower and a big bath
I was told PRIOR to booking that the resturant next door was being refurbished and when completed it will be really nice. Nothing wrong with the accommodation just the facilities. That said the staff did recommend places to eat plus delivery and there was re heat facilities available. IMHO there was nothing else the staff could do to alleviate the issue.

Everything really, except for ventilation/ heat management
Corridors and room were stiflingly hot. Room window was shut on arrival making it extremely uncomfortable. Window opening and electric fan totally inadequate. Even next morning when 10 degrees cooler outside, room was still very stuffy and uncomfortable - best part of the stay was getting outside in the fresh air

Old fashioned door key locks. I think all hotels should convert baths to showers for safety reasons.

We booked a riverside room. When I found out we hadn't I went straight to reciptiinist who smiled sweetly. She said they were full and rooms were descided this morning. So she couldn't swap. I said I was unhappy. No compensatory gift or money off offered. It's on my booking form so should have been given a river view

The view of the Marina ...the accessibility to an excellent pub..the room had excellent facilities for the price..fridge ,microwave etc..huge comfortable clean bed...reception staff were lovely

The staff were very friendly and helpful.
The bed and bedroom were very well designed and comfortable. Despite the very hot weather the temperature in the room was comfortable and I was able to sleep well.
On the night I was there, it was very quiet and peaceful.
Although the hotel does not have its own restaurant, there is a pizza restaurant next door, which is a separate business but, as it adjoins the hotel, this was not a problem.
As I am a non-driver my main problem was the location. I was dependent on taxis. I booked this hotel because it looked fairly near the Cross Keys pub in Woolstone, where I was meeting friends the next day, but the receptionist advised that I would need to get a bus back into the City centre and another out again to Woolstone, which would take a long time, so I took a taxi.
I arrived late (about 10pm), so the restaurant next door and a couple of the outside restaurants I phoned for a take-away were closed.
I had breakfast in the restaurant next door, which was a bit inconvenient as I had to go to several different counters for what I wanted (juice, porridge and coffee), but a member of staff walked me round. There was no fresh fruit.

Lack of facilities. No where 2 have a drink when we got back.. overpriced
