Wonderful
This hotel is not a 5 stay hotel but the items they name available to guest in the room, some 5 stay hotels don’t put in that same effort. They even had a sewing kit in the rooms! That really caught my attention
The reception is was too busy and it didn’t have a well defined smell when you walk in, which is very important for a hotel, smell is everything when you first walk into a hotel. that is the only thing I can bring up. Everything was very lovely other than that, the breakfast is top notch

Good location
TV remote in the room didn't work, WiFi kept disconnecting, and the room was alright. The fact that when we went to have breakfast despite being told it was £13 they wanted to charge us £18 each because we didn't pay the night before at reception. I'm not told this at check-in. What sense does that make? The cost of providing breakfast doesn't change depending on what day it is paid for? It certainly doesn't change due to the distance of the reception to the restaurant. To be charged differently than others is frustrating and wrong. I don't like to feel conned, and this is how it came across. I won't be returning.

Good
Breakfast was good, plenty of food, good variety
The Hotel staff were brilliant, always pleasant and helpful The only problem we had were the residents in next room (noise and screaming after midnight) and a maintenance person was drilling in adjacent room after midnight (same night)
