Disappointing
Breakfast.
Unfortunately, we were very disappointed with the housekeeping service during our stay at Novotel. Our room was skipped for cleaning all day, despite us not putting a “skip clean” request on the door.
Because our room had not been cleaned, we had to leave the hotel, go home to shower, then go out before returning to the hotel at around 10pm. It was only when we returned that we found our room had finally been cleaned.
We were told that priority cleaning was being given to guests checking in. While we understand that priority may need to be given to incoming guests, we were already staying at the hotel and had not declined housekeeping. Leaving our room uncleaned for the entire day, only cleaning it around 10pm, was very disappointing and inconvenient.
Overall, this was not the level of service we expected from Novotel.

I was very surprised to see the carpet covered in stains, and wear and tear on the furniture's. I think the rooms could be maintained better.
Dirty looking carpet in the room put me off.

Overall the breakfast was good with the exception of the bacon. It was overcooked, impossible to cut and if you managed to break a piece off our teeth could not go through it
The bar closing at 11.00 pm we had only just got back from the theatre and would have liked to have a couple of drinks to wind down

I liked that the cot was set up prior on arrival as we checked in staff was great and booked us in for swimming with our children and breakfast was great not to have to ask them question our self ….
We very much enjoyed the pool it was great temperature

Good location, easy access to both M1 and central MK. Quiet during our midweek stay with plenty of space. Good breakfast and helpful staff.
