Very pleasant staff on arrival. Very clean room.
I was ill during the night (I had not been drinking alcohol) and couldn't face eating breakfast. We still had to pay for my breakfast as it was part of the booking deal I had made. A member of staff made me toast which my husband was able to bring up to the room.
No lift!
Though we do like the hotel very much and have stayed a few times it is beginning to need an upgrade in places.

The breakfast was good and everything else but couldn't connect to the WiFi due to my limited knowledge of the Internet technology, a QR code should be available for easy access. And I was expecting a small fridge in the room to keep some takeaway food. Thanks to Rory that checked me in on Friday night without the red carpet
The cleaners should always check the chest drawers for guests that have checked out. I found some left over laundry inside one of the chest drawers and the hotel compensated me with next morning breakfast which I'm very pleased with, and lastly, I forgot my black cap inside the room, the cleaner can dispose of it, thanks.

The location was nice. Looking out to the golf course was a nice sight to wake up to. Bed was big but was two singles joined which was slightly annoying as was quite a big gap but overall was still comfy.
Went to get a cocktail at the bar. Had the rum lunch and it was made with the wrong alcohol. Was told there was no Bacardi but there was. Drink was made with Malibu instead so asked for an extra shot of it as the alcohol percentage is half of a normal spirit and was told no and still made to pay full price.

Staff where great, couldn't fault them. The food was great. Only criticism is the room could of done with a deep clean, stained bed frame and lots of dust on frames and surfaces. Mold on silicone around bath, just needs a food clean and some attention to the rooms. But I would stay again

Breakfast was outstanding. The chef was chatty and helpful - providing some additional vegan options. The waitress (Bravly?) on both morning was most helpful and responsive.
Joining 2 single beds together for a double and not using a mattress topper serves to provide a ridge in the middle of the bed.

Beds were awful as were pillows .. like sleeping on the floor ! Didn’t sleep at all !!
