The room given to us had musty, damp smelling bedding sheets & covers, then they gave us another room where the AC wasn't working!
And this was during the heat wave going on, so overall the stay this time wasn't good

Clean and as expected for a Mecure hotel. Little aged facilities but still in working condition. Not particularly central or local to town so had to get an uber if wanting to go offsite etc but otherwise met my needs. I would say the room was slightly overpriced.

Welcoming, helpful staff. Richard, the front of house chef, is exceptionally cheerful and helpful.
The room was a good size. It was quiet, despite being fully booked.
In warm weather, a winter duvet is too hot. Some things look tired in places: paintwork and stains on carpet in the room

Nice location
Considering I had checked in prior to arrival nothing was ready. Still had to wait for the key card. No menus available to look at for that evenings dinner offerings. We ate out, it was cheaper and the breakfast was expensive, so we ate out.
