Disappointing
The venue was good albeit confusing to find the rooms due to the layout. The rooms were clean and the bed comfy. The showers were the best. The gym was a nuffield so had all facilities available for free with the room.
I am gluten free and dairy free which I notified the hotel in advance. For breakfast the gluten free cereal had been placed next to the gluten breads which I found rather curious, and the only dairy free milk available for cereal was barasti milk, which wasn't the best as this is supposed to be used for coffee. The lunch and dinner also left me extremely disappointed as there was no option for dairy free desserts, only a token bit of fruit. In this day and age one would expect that a hotel that specialises in conferences would have a better food selection for dietary requirements. The coffee/ tea refreshments also had no option for gluten free biscuits or something alternative.

location was easy to get to. That's about it.
The reception staff was unhelpful - didn't even tell me how to get to the room - had to go back and ask Was woken up by the cleaning staff at 7 am shouting at each other in their own language down the hallway. there must of been at least 3 signs in between the two staff members telling you to "be quiet as people are sleeping" These typical hotel signs The swimming pool on the other side of the carpark is run by Nuffield Health. - nothing special but make sure you bring a towel and a padlock for the lockers Our friends weren't told what time breakfast finished and missed it by 5 mins. When I checked out and complained to the receptionist about the cleaners she laughed at my and my partner's complaint and then I asked for a manager she said non was available but one would contact me. 1 month later and still nothing.

There was left over body wash in the toilet in our room from the previous people, which could mean it wasn't clean.
You clock in from 2pm but cannot get a drink or food until after 5pm and then it all closes before 11pm.
