Room , loxation
Full English breakfast was served by staff . The food seemed to be under heat lamps. The food wasn't off a hot plate therefore it was only warm @ best

Location to the venue we were attending
On arrival we felt like the instructions to find the room was not clear which resulted us going to the wrong room (and embarrassingly trying the key) we then found the right block to go to, but once again the signage did not seem clear and we couldn't find the lift. We asked other guest and they helped us find our room which we had to carry our bags etc up the stairs. The room itself was small and really should not be advertised for 2 ppl. The bathroom sink area was dirty or Stained and the TV did not seem stable on the wall in the corner where it was. Windows were high up and had to climb on chair to open and we had difficulty finding main light switch which we found behind one of the pillows on the bed (on the wall). The room was not sound proof and we could hear absolutely every noise, door banging, talking etc from the corridor area and other rooms. The morning after there were work men working on the building once again right outside our room (scaffolding was up) and we were woken up by this i believe it was just after 8am. I expressed all this to the receptionist when checking out and if you have work being done on the rooms or near them you should advise guests or simply not hire out the rooms involved as this added to our unpleasant stay. Finally would be really helpful on arrival or in the room of you had WiFi details (although free to join) and breakfast timings as for someone like myself and my friend with medical conditions, brain fog kicks in and hard to remember when you are just told information with no written details. Breakfast was ok for the price but overall the room was extremely overpriced for what we had paid and would be grateful if you could look into escalating this and providing a refund. Thank you

Bed was comfortable. A taxi journey to the National Bowl (don't walk it) or £6 on a lime scooter or bike to the National Bowl.
Poor experience trying to find the reception area from the car park. I went into a building through a side door and there was little to no sign posts for main reception and no-one to help me. I needed a fast check in as I had a taxi ordered. When I found the reception, I was given directions to my room, but could not find it - I was not told it was on the first floor. I headed back to reception (miles away down blank corridors) to get assistance.
There was a phone on the first reception desk that I found saying we're away, please call other reception, no-one picked up the phone.
They need a lot more signage and some different looks in their corridors to help with way finding.
There was a lot of noise outside my room so I struggled to get to sleep. Breakfast was plentiful but poor quality.
The light switches were behind a pillow on the bed which is very odd and I had to call reception to find them.
I checked out and walked across to the Nuffield leisure centre, but was told they didn't provide towels, so went back to the hotel to get one from reception. What a messy set up!
The health centre is tired looking in the female changing areas, the showers and inside the lockers are rusty. Facilities are good though. The floors needed to be mopped a lot more.
I paid £140 and was expecting something a lot better. Would not stay here again.

Staff were helpful, breakfast was plentiful
Hotel is ok for an evening but not fancy - similar to a student halls campus. Rooms are small and basic accessed by long winding corridors.

Good
The on-site car parking and gym were a plus, and the included breakfast was good, with a nice selection of options. The room was a reasonable size, and the traditional key system was a nice, quaint touch. Overall, I enjoyed my stay and would happily stay here again
The soundproofing could be improved, as noise from people coming and going in the corridor could be heard quite clearly. Only one key was provided, which wasn’t particularly convenient. The carpets throughout the hotel are also very dated and heavily stained, so would benefit from being replaced

It was close to the venue I was attending
The shower was insufficient. The water would either be scolding hot or Luke warm. The bathroom sink was filthy the taps were full of limescale. The room was tiny you could just about walk around the bed.

Wonderful
When we arrived the staff were happy and helpful. We checked into one room but I purchased x2 rooms. Got to the room which was only one bed, went back to reception and they were really helpful and gave us the key to the second room. No issue at all. The room was nice, very clean. The breakfast was really nice and the service was great as they serve the hot breakfast for you. Really tasty. There were spa facilities which we didn't use unfortunately. Nice garden area outside. We used an uber to get to where we needed to go. Would definitely stay here again.

Huge car park, easy check in, breakfast was quite nice. Not far from venue
Room was small, no fridge, very loud with it being fully booked. Not enough sockets. Needs updating. We paid nearly 2k for three rooms for three nights

Bar was nice.
Rats outside in the courtyard walking around. Dirty bath with black marks looked like burn marks. Light on mirror in bathroom broken. Blinds dirty full of dust. Stained carpets throughout the room, very dirty.

Breakfast was really really good. Enjoyed especially the grilled tomato which was very tasteful. Would love to know the recipe
Would appreaciate if the juices were cold. Instead they were very very hot. And also change the drinking water. It tasted like poison
