Allocated completely wrong room on arrival - booked a standard king with an extra large double - got what looked like a single room with not even a double bed, with an outside vent that kept flapping!
After complaining to reception, allocated the correct room which smelt of drains !

Location was very good in relation to our destination but this was reason for selection.
Staff pleasant and attentive.
Plenty of available parking.
Good food menu and catering for food intolerance.
Poor maintenance in the room. The bathroom door was falling off hinges and did not close. Bathroom fan did not work so whole room smelt damp. Mould in the shower and windows. Strange layout of bedroom meant bed was against the corner so not easy to get in and out on one side. Staff hoovering room next door at 7.30 am meant an early unwanted start.

Shower was nice, mattress was okay but hard.
Room was cold on entry and some smell (maybe fan was left on by cleaner to cover this) Cold as was the girl who checked me in. No hello, no eye contact no enjoy your stay no nothing leaving me uneasy having a card machine shoved toward me she just said select your gift? That's all was spoken Handed my key and kept on looking down I had to take this personal I was too tired too respond I walked to my room baffled. A long day checked in 8.30pm wanting to now relax. A dirty cleaning cloth was left in the bathroom slight of bleach used to unblock sink.as plug was out

We arrived late and receptionist was really polite and welcoming, he even offered us late checkout. The room and bathroom were modern and very clean. We slept really well, there was absolutely no noise at all. Really happy with it and will definitely return.

Nothing arrived at the property to be told it was overbooked .at 9:30 pm.

Had to try and locate another hotel nearby.
The lady at reception did help.
The payment was debited from my. a/c, but I still haven't received the payment back .
Won't ever be staying here again .

I like that we have a soft spot for the hotel as we got married in there may 12th 2019 and we were the first couple to get married in the newly refurbished Carrington suite and that was the first time we've spent the night there since the day we tied the knot.
I'll be honest when we got married it was surrounded by beautiful open greenery but not a new housing estate is in development

Very friendly staff and welcoming when we arrived late night, after a long car ride. Beautifully decorated, super clean and comfortable rooms. Breakfast was exceptional as well as the very friendly and helpful staff. We very much enjoyed our stay!

In the middle of know where. Road work surrounded the building, nothing walkable. Very very loud disco/party until 12.30am and did not put non party quest on the outside of the building. No lift to take luggage up had to heave up the stairs. No trolly to take luggage to bottom of stairs, had to carry from the car.

Part of shower control came off, toilet seat was very loose, could not control temperature of room, no mirror over desk, only one bedside shelf, wardobe inadequate, lack of clothes storage, not enough power points, connecting room doors locked on our side only. Room not serviced on 2nd day, we needed to request towels that day. 1st morning breakfast buffet was incomplete and just edible. Car park surface broken up and stoney.
Overall, the public areas were clean and tidy, the room decoration was very tired, staff were very helpful but due to staff shortage were limited with assistance.

The fact that the hotel centred around an older building rather than a new build gave it character.
The site was very peaceful because the main road going past was closed. This is about to be spoiled as the hotel becomes engulfed by a number of busy roads close by and thousands of new houses on the doorstep.

Friendly staff on reception. Location good for our needs
Lots of mould in bathroom shower, bed far too big for room couldn't walk round it on one side had to climb over husband to get in and out of bed, we booked king room looked like they'd put king bed in small double room. No bedside table or plug to charge phone by bed either as no space! .
Breakfast very poor, no clean laid tables when we arrived, not much food left at 9.30 despite breakfast open till 10! Had to ask for more to be brought out took ages. Bar staff grumpy and not very intetested in serving us at 9pm. Loud music, were warned they had a function so asked by email to be placed on a quieter room away from noise, we were put next to 2 open doors which led to function room and noise! On arrival room smelt very strongly of cleaning chemicals made our eyes water, couldn't open windows and go out as on ground floor, tried to complain but when went back to reception no one there and sign saying they were helping other guests in the hotel waited 5 mins but then had to go out, hoping smell would have gone but was still there on our return and again no one on reception. I could go on .......
