Felt like a high end university residency with lots of students . Not a single non alcoholic beverage at the bar including any kind of juice . Completely inexperienced bar and restaurant staff. Foreign students mostly

My room had been recently refurbished and was clean and nicely decorated. The bed was super comfy and I slept really well. Breakfast pretty good, everything hot and well stocked.
The corridors and windows are in desperate need of renovation - very tired looking.

Arrived having injured my knee. The receptionist sourced a crutch and even moved our room to the ground floor and nearest to reception.
Breakfast was great.
For a one night stay as part of Onward journey was ideal.
Not hotel issue but some guests decided to gather outside of our door and were loud. They did move on when asked politely

For the price we paid it was outstanding value for money

Ample free parking
Dirty crockery and cutlery, plus dirty bedding in the corridor on arrival was off-putting
Fire doors in landing areas very heavy and difficult to manage whilst carrying bags

The bar closed at 10:30 on a Saturday night and there is no alternatives around the locality.
The breakfast was easily the worst breakfast I have ever been offered in a similar budget hotel. Self service the bacon was soggy and steamed the sausages just awful :(
