Mediocre breakfast. Clean sheets and fresh bedding were nice.
Air con didn’t work, room was over 30 degrees. They were full booked so couldn’t move us which wasn’t true because during the night when we just couldn’t take it anymore, a different manager moved us. Disrupted sleep having to move at 3am. Then this new room was slightly cooler but still air con didn’t work and it remained at 28 degrees. Only offered one nights discount, and tray service removed. Over the course of 48 hours, we had 1 hours sleep on the first night, and 4 hours the second night. When trying to get ready in this temperature the sweat just was pouring off us. I think the staff should have paid to move us to another hotel as the temperature was so high it was feeling dangerous. We both were feeling sick and my legs were getting puffy. Having no sleep when you’ve come to stay here and attend an event just ruined our entire experience. Because there are no windows to open there just is no relief. Poorly designed hotel with no access to the grounds unless you walk for 20-25 minutes because they block all of the entrances and exits.

Perfect for attending the Jehovahs Witness Convention.
The room was very comfortable.
The staff were pleasant, very cheerful and helpful.
There was no chest of drawers to put folding clothes and underwear in.
The air con was a bit too cold.
Not impressed with the choice of meals in the restaurants, not a fresh cooked vegetable e.g cauliflower, carrot, cabbage or broccoli in the hot meals. It was 90% highly spiced with fries or chunky chips. More choice with some fresh salmon, sea bass, new potatoes, fresh veg etc to cater for healthier diet choices would’ve been good. Yes, there is a choice of salads but a nice healthy hot meal would’ve been appreciated.

It's close to amenities and subsidised parking is available for hotel residents. The late check out at 12.00pm is good.
Whilst the room was clean, there were some scuffs and scratches on the doors, which I wouldn't have expected in a 4 star hotel. There wasn't a hairdryer in the room and we had to ask for one and it took at least half an hour to arrive.
I do think the parking should be free if you're staying in the hotel. Parking spaces were also limited in the hotel carpark, although there is a wider carpark connected to the stadium.
The Red Bar also wasn't open late on the Sunday evening.

Room over looked football pitch it was a nice view, however the windows didn’t open but the Aircon lovely it was clean and bright the breakfast was lovely full English as well as pastries cereal yoghurt et cetera Brian room was bright and airy as well. Beds were very comfortable and clean.
The only thing we didn’t like was the breakfast was absolutely gorgeous so we thought the restaurant would provide a great evening meal. This was a great disappointment in every sense of the word.
