Absolutely adore the view from the hostel! Seeing all the trains passing through the bridge at night was so interesting! It wasn't very noisy after 11 pm, so it's totally fine for sleeping. The room is really spacious, and the way the beds are laid out is amazing. Everyone had some space around them to place things. There is a vanity area with some clothing racks. I also like the walking maps prepared by the hostel. Deansgate is such an interesting area with all the canals and amazing architecture.
Nothing really. The toilet needs a renovation though - it is a bit aged. Staff members were polite and helpful in general but I feel like they could have been a bit more welcoming.

As always, the YHA delivers with this beautiful location in Castlefield. The staff were very friendly, they accommodated me during my motorcycle journey with parking, and allowed me to store my bags whilst I was on an appointment. Everything about the place was clean, orderly, and quiet for the evening. I'll definitely recommend this place for anyone wanting a cheap stay in Manchester.

Great location, big room, comfy bed, staff could not have been more helpful after leaving something behind. Staff went above and beyond in helping return this to us.

Everything went quickly and smoothly.
It's minor but the parts that hold the metal latch sort of a thing for a keylock didn't seem very sturdy and that they could be easily broken. In regards to the storage space in the room. But I don't know how much of an issue it really is and am just being paranoid about safety it might very well be the latter.
