The room was very clean and tidy, with comfy beds and clean bathrooms.
The room was just beside the train line, and trains were running throughout the night, so unfortunately couldn't sleep well. Also, there was a peculiar smell just inside the room, though other areas were fine. The breakfast was not included in the price. Ideally, hostels include at least tea, coffee and croissants at the same cost.

Clean, bright, friendly, and secure in an Interesting location amongst the canals and railway bridges of historic Castlefield. Very comfortable beds with fresh, clean linen. Close to transport links including free bus #1.

Parking on site and included in price of room. Easy to get to. Bar/restaurant and kitchen facilities were good.

Friendly staff and smooth check-in experience. Great location with views of the canals and within walking distance of the roman ruins. The free parking was a huge plus!
Our room faced the garbage disposal as well as the overground tracks. Inevitably, the odious scent of garbage wafted through our room when we had our windows open to air it. The room also did not look as pictured. It was a more dated version with a tiny plasticy shower and toilet area reminiscent of temporary lodgings. Literally a raised box with a toilet + shower. Very tight. The rest of the room was pretty spacious though. What a pity!
