Wonderful
Clean, bright, friendly, and secure in an Interesting location amongst the canals and railway bridges of historic Castlefield. Very comfortable beds with fresh, clean linen. Close to transport links including free bus #1.

Parking on site and included in price of room. Easy to get to. Bar/restaurant and kitchen facilities were good.
Railway was noisy but at least it stopped through the night.

Friendly staff and smooth check-in experience. Great location with views of the canals and within walking distance of the roman ruins. The free parking was a huge plus!
Our room faced the garbage disposal as well as the overground tracks. Inevitably, the odious scent of garbage wafted through our room when we had our windows open to air it. The room also did not look as pictured. It was a more dated version with a tiny plasticy shower and toilet area reminiscent of temporary lodgings. Literally a raised box with a toilet + shower. Very tight. The rest of the room was pretty spacious though. What a pity!

The room wasn’t really clean neither the bathroom nor the room, there’s no privacy per beds. I had a really bad experience, the other people in the room the whole night stayed awake. I asked the staff to change my room and they told me that it was not possible at the moment.

The location. The reception area. The size of the bedroom. Comfy bed. Hot shower. Friendly staff. Quiet at night. Value for money. Brilliant carpark. Lovely area to meet my sons for a drink by the canal.
A bedside lamp. The mirror and socket nearer to each other for drying hair. Muesli for breakfast! More comfortable pillows. Bigger range of food in the vending machine or available when the kitchen is no longer serving meals. A place to swop books and magazines.
