Very clean, bed comfy, breakfast was really good!! There is a communal kitchen there for cooking your own stuff which was clean and well equipped. Overall really good place to stay.

Fantastic location. Parking easy and affordable. Staff extremely friendly and helpful. Nice sized room .
Uncomfortable bed. High step into the en-suite but that was just because I have old knees so may not be a problem for others. Linen van turned up around 5am and was very noisy for quite some time so after a terrible nights sleep anyway due to bed and other people's comings and goings all night, this was the nail in the coffin sadly.

Room was really clean, lots of sockets and on lamps. What surprised me more was i thought it would have been louder but was quiet. Lots of facilities and such friendly night stay, we would most definitely stay here again.

It was centrally located and I was able to walk to all of the meetup points for a convention I was attending. I also like being by the canal.
I had a leaky faucet in my bathroom but overall I was pleased with the room.

walkable distance to city centre
The canal-side location can be quite noisy at night, with geese calling and people talking loudly, especially over the weekend. Unfortunately, my en-suite had an unpleasant smell, and there were some yellowish stains on the shower floor.

⭐ Excellent stay — exceeded my expectations YHA Manchester was absolutely fantastic and exceeded my expectations. * Great location: Conveniently located and easy to access, making it a great base for exploring Manchester. * Excellent facilities: The common areas are spacious, comfortable and well-organised. * Clean and well maintained: The whole property felt clean and cared for. * Friendly staff: The staff were welcoming, helpful and professional. * Great atmosphere: A lively but comfortable atmosphere, with plenty of opportunities to meet other travellers. * Excellent value for money: The quality and overall experience were much better than I expected for a hostel. Overall, I had a genuinely great stay at YHA Manchester. Highly recommended — I would happily stay here again.

The rooms were very clean. The entire premise was very handy and had a good amount of facilities. Everyone was really lovely and it was really comfy honestly

The value is exceptional and the staff were professional and helpful... it was perfect for us as we were going to a match in the city and needed somewhere easy to find. It was a great stay
No issues... cider and wine prices actually manages to exceed Irish prices which is an achievement!!! But I saw that only in jest as it dosent impact our stay!!! :)
